The End is a dimension in Minecraft that can be accessed via an end portal. So far, it has only made one major appearance, in the AVM short with the same name. It also reappeared in all of the Actual Shorts where the Stick Gang, Purple, and King Orange speedran Minecraft.

Locations

• Main Island: The Main Island is the spawn point of the End. There are End Crystals that heal the dragon. It is the home of the Ender Dragon and her child.
• Outer Islands: The outer islands are many islands that are far away from the main island. There are usually chorus plants on the islands where end cities and ships are found.

History

The End - AVM Shorts Episode 10

Green, Blue, and Purple appeared in The End. They covered their eyes when facing an Enderman, before Blue shot the Ender Dragon. Upon realizing that the healing crystals healed them, Green and Blue executed a strategy using their fishing rods to get onto the dragon and lead it away from the main island. Green stabbed his sword into the dragon, but Blue and Purple fell off, landing in an end ship near an end city. Blue figured out how to operate it, while Purple got his iconic Elytra, barely dodged a shulker and its hover effect, and went back with Blue. Unfortunately, the Ender Dragon returned (with Green), destroying the ship after they chased after it. As a result, Purple was left flying in the air, with either the choice of getting the Ender Egg or saving Green and Blue (Green had been hit by the shulker after the ship was destroyed, so Purple had 10 seconds to make a choice). Purple ended up choosing the egg, and abandoned Green and Blue.

Luckily, The Second Coming, Red, and Yellow had formed a human (stickman?) chain with the rest of the villagers from Purple's computer, saving Blue and Green. When they got back to the Macintosh, the villagers were upset with Purple's actions leading to the destruction of their village, so they overthrew him.

Speedrun Competition

All five members of the Stick Gang, Purple, and King Orange all speedrun Minecraft, each using various ways to defeat the Ender Dragon.

The Second Coming

Early on in his speedrun, TSC mined an anvil. At the end of his speedrun, he dropped the anvil on the dragon, crushing her and forcing her to fall to the ground.

Red

Early on in his speedrun, Red rapidly harvested a group of carrots, before shoving a pair of rabbits into a chest and feeding them the carrots. Later on, he stole a pair of llamas from a Wandering Trader. In The End, he used the reins between the two llamas as a slingshot for his rabbit-filled chests. They burst open, covering the Ender Dragon in rabbits.

Yellow

Early on in his speedrun, Yellow crafted a group of beds. He later stole a minecart from an underground mine, and the tracks as well. In The End, he rolled a rolled-up group of tracks along the bottom of The End, creating a long group of tracks for Yellow to use his minecart on. He placed one of his beds (beds explode in The Nether and here) under the cart, acting as a TNT jump. He slammed his cart on the dragon's head, blinding her and causing her to crash into a massive obsidian pillar.

Green

Green creates a massive, 24-block Nether Portal. He then uses a fishing rod to hijack a Ghast and send it into The End, scaring the dragon away.

Blue

Blue crafts a pair of Potions of Transmutation. He attaches one to his bow when attacking the dragon, transmutating it into a shulker block. He throws his other potion into the air after exiting The End, reverting the dragon to normal.

Purple

Purple uses his paper-and-bamboo Elytra substitute to create a wooden replica of the dragon. He throws it at the real dragon, distracting her.

King Orange

...just smashed her out of existence, before exiting.
