Creation and Enslavement[]
Nine months after the events of Animator vs. Animation, Alan Becker decided to create a new stick figure but wanted this one to be a much bigger challenge to him than the previous one, victim, who just escaped from his laptop. He went through several different ideas for a name (such as "victim", "killer" and "BEAST") before deciding to grant this stick figure the highest known power level at the time, The Chosen One, and converted it to a symbol.
Immediately upon being granted sentience, The Chosen One destroyed the cage around him in a fiery aura before attacking Alan's cursor unprovoked due to his high power level making him naturally vicious and destructive by nature which led to The Chosen One escaping the Adobe Flash window and making his way onto Alan's desktop and began wreaking havoc for the fun of it.
After several failed attempts to kill the stick figure, Alan sent in his other applications to attack The Chosen One but even Mozilla Firefox, AOL Instant Messenger, and My Computer were no match for him. Desperate to stop the stick figure from destroying his computer, he opened avast! Antivirus and successfully captured The Chosen One with the program using lightning bolt drones to weaken him before imprisoning him in a chest. Now tamed by a ball and chain, the stick figure was stuck as a slave to Alan who used The Chosen One to destroy pop-up ads that cover his view.

Freedom and Friendship[]
Four years later, still imprisoned as a pop-up blocker, The Chosen One continues to be unfairly treated by his creator but notices a chance for freedom and desperately tries to seize it but is foiled by Alan's cursor. Desperate to be freed, The Chosen One attacks the cursor and unfortunately Alan makes the mistake of trying to access the settings menu, allowing his creation to trick him into freeing him.
Finally freed and overcome by wrath, The Chosen One destroys everything around him in order to enact revenge for his enslavement. He escapes onto other windows and begins burning and eating away Alan's college essay. This causes Clippy the Paperclip to ask Alan if he needs help killing the stick figure to which Alan replies "yes". After warning The Chosen One to cease his actions and is immediately ignored, the paperclip attacks The Chosen One with Alan's help and the two succeed in driving him into a corner, only for The Chosen One to catch them off guard and gain the upper hand.
Realizing that his applications can't defeat the superpowered stick figure, Alan decided to fight fire with fire and creates a red stick figure named The Dark Lord to serve as "The Chosen One's enemy" and gives him the mission to destroy The Chosen One. Embedded with his directive and having powers equal to The Chosen One, The Dark Lord proves to be The Chosen One's match and is assisted by all of Alan's icons on his desktop in defeating the rogue stick figure. Despite being outnumbered, The Chosen One doesn't back down and defeats all of the applications and backs The Dark Lord into a corner through the use of Minesweeper.
Despite having the advantage, The Chosen One calls their fight off and reveals to The Dark Lord that their creator doesn't care any more about him than his other creation. Angered at being treated like a slave and uncared for despite his loyalty, the two decide to instead team up against their common enemy and both attack Alan while he is playing Solitaire. Unable to do anything to stop them, Alan can only watch helplessly as the two combine powers to create a singularity that annihilates the computer and fries the motherboard, resulting in a blue screen of death that supposedly ends The Chosen One's violent reign.

The Flashback - Animator vs. Animation 7 and Beta - AVM Shorts Episode 0[]
It is revealed that The Chosen One and The Dark Lord had survived the events of Animator vs Animation III by opening a portal to the internet. There, they began a reign of terror, destroying games and websites (Specifically Yahoo! and Angry Birds) before crashing into a Beta Minecraft world. Chosen points out their new discovery to Dark, and after a moment, they light their fists to destroy it.
The two of them soar with each other, bombing and lasering the Overworld below them and destroying the various mobs within. They land so powerfully they make a crater in the world, and then Dark flies off to create more destruction. Chosen starts to follow, but stops when he picks up some cobblestone. He selects it from his inventory and makes a small structure with it. Dark returns, and Chosen shows it to the red Hollow-Head, who summons a fiery orb to destroy it. While Chosen doesn't want him to at first, he relents and allows Dark to destroy it and fly off, where he eventually finds himself in the Nether.
Chosen, however, remains behind, building a small house and nodding approvingly. When a Creeper walks up behind him, he quickly decapitates it with a laser, and it disappears in a puff of smoke. Chosen continues to explore the Overworld, watching a chicken float down a cliff, exploring a cave and stumbling upon diamonds, eating a pork chop, and finally, stacking trees of top of each other. After finishing this last task, he floats down and watches the sunset for a moment, enjoying a moment of peace and calm until Dark returns, an armful of golden swords from killing Zombie Pigmen in the Nether. The two of them decide to leave, Dark eager to continue his reign of destruction, and while Chosen is more hesitant, remembering the tranquil time he had in Minecraft, he decides to follow.

During their rampage, Chosen and Dark destroyed Newgrounds as well, killing countless sticks, including Mitsi. The two Hollow-Heads high-fived as they looked upon the carnage they caused.

The Flashback - Animator vs. Animation 7[]
As the years passed, The Chosen One realized how cruel The Dark Lord is, eventually leaving The Dark Lord to fight alone as The Chosen One would watch from a distance.
They lived together in a house inside the Outernet, until one day, The Chosen One witnessed The Dark Lord create a virus that was immensely powerful and could dissolve anything it comes into contact with. After a quick demonstration, The Dark Lord loaded it into a cannon to fire at Alan's new computer. Having a heavy distaste for the genocide-level potential of the ViraBot, The Chosen One refused to let the virus be released and attempted to persuade The Dark Lord to not release it. The Dark Lord, however, wouldn't relent and attempted to fire the cannon. A short but vicious duel started between the former friends, ending with The Dark Lord's defeat but the cannon's firing. The Chosen One saw that the computer was called ALANSPC, which made him remember all that had happened between him and the Animator. He desperately races against the virus pod but is unable to pass through a barrier to the computer. With a powerful fiery energy beam, he breaks through and enters the computer, before dueling the virus.
The Virus - Animator vs. Animation 5[]
The Chosen One appears out of a portal in the computer screen just before the ViraBot attacks the incapacitated Stick Gang. Seeing the group in danger, he ignites his fists and charges at the ViraBot.
The Chosen One's Return - Animator vs. Animation 6[]
To save The Second Coming and his friends, The Chosen One challenges and fights ViraBot to save the other stick figures. The battle seems a tie until The Chosen One is revealed to be immune to ViraBot's corrosion. Then he uses his laser vision, forcing the virus to hide in the computer's files. He then starts attacking The Chosen One with many pop-ups, apps and broken windows. The broken pieces of windows and pop-ups soon form a giant version of the ViraBot, which starts beating him down.
Overwhelmed by the sheer number of attacks, The Chosen One activates a hidden power that boosts his abilities and destroys the giant ViraBot with a golden shockwave which flushes it out of the files. The Chosen One unleashes all of his powers on the ViraBot, and finishes the job with a single implosive energy punch, killing it.
The other stick figures start thanking him, but he ignores them and restarts a portal back to the Outernet. Before leaving, he looks to Alan and nods to him, forgiving him. Alan nods back and The Chosen One returns to the Outernet. But the portal remains for a few moments, to the curiosity of the other Sticks. The Second Coming jumps forward, followed by his friends, ending the episode.
The Showdown - Animator vs. Animation 8[]
Chosen returned to the Outernet and fought The Dark Lord. He engages him in a fierce duel, initially overpowering him and forcing him on the defensive, along with flinging him through different internet sites. Eventually, The Dark Lord started to gain the upper hand and slammed The Chosen One into the water near his base of operations.
While floating in the water and recovering, he saw a dark red and black burst of light pierce the sky and grew uncertain. The Dark Lord had new powers similar to his viruses and engaged The Chosen One again, this time, gaining the upper hand and aided by his Wristband of Power, he overwhelmed The Chosen One. The timely arrival of Alan's cursor, aided by Yellow to enter the world, initially helped The Chosen One in fighting back against his former friend, but nonetheless, the cursor was destroyed by a combined effort of multiple Vira-Blades and ViraBots and The Chosen One was defeated.
Pinned down, the final blow was about to be dealt, but was interrupted by the arrival of The Second Coming and the Stick Gang. Annoyed, The Dark Lord let the ViraBots loose on the Chosen One before personally dealing with and killing Red, Yellow, Green and Blue. Overpowered, The Chosen One was helpless to stop their demise and saw The Second Coming being mortally wounded before being thrown against the cliffside. Lacking the strength to fight back, he collapsed and surrendered to the Dark Lord, who ordered the ViraBots to enter portals leading to various internet sites.
While on the ground, he saw a large amount of ViraBots destroyed in an instant and witnessed The Second Coming, with awakened powers, engaging The Dark Lord in one last duel. Soon The Dark Lord was overwhelmed by The Second Coming and was destroyed in a massive explosion by The Second Coming's new laser vision. Rising from the ground, he saw the return of the Stick Gang and witnessed Alan's cursor bring the collapsed Second Coming back to his comrades, who promptly woke up and hugged his friends in relief. Remembering their actions and seeing his powers, The Chosen One bowed in front of The Second Coming, which confused him. Then, he witnessed them ride the cursor out of the Outernet, back to their computer.

Although he doesn't actually appear, a wanted poster of him can be seen on a wall, foreshadowing Animator vs. Animation Season 3.
Wanted - Animator vs. Animation 9 and Corn Dog Guy - An Actual Short[]
Five years after the events of Animator vs Animation Season 2, The Chosen One is seen getting chased by four various stick figures, flying past a corn dog vendor in the process. He is flying in the city trying to shake them off. As he does so, the pursuers' Glitch Bombs causes destruction, which leads The Chosen One to save a civilian from falling debris via his laser vision.
The Mercenaries continue to chase him throughout the city, the countryside, and to the cliffside where The Dark Lord had been defeated. Recalling The Second Coming's hidden power that destroyed The Dark Lord, The Chosen One looks to ALANSPC to get The Second Coming's help, but the Mercenaries intercepted him. Though The Chosen One managed to temporarily fend three of the Mercenaries off by releasing a large blast of lightning from his body, he was wounded by Glitch Bombs in the process of trying to land on the hoverbike of the aggressive Agent. The Chosen One then struck the hoverbike with an icy punch, and detonated the iceberg created from it with a lightning bolt, and flew up to ALANSPC.
Desperate for assistance, The Chosen One beckoned to the confused Second Coming for help, although the latter was left baffled at The Chosen One's request to use his powers against the Mercenaries. When The Chosen One and The Second Coming were separated by Blue, he frantically took The Second Coming with him back to the Outernet, where they were once again pursued by the Mercenaries.
He later had The Second Coming fight the Mercenaries in the hopes that his power can be awakened to defeat the latter, but before long, the plan failed, prompting The Chosen One to rescue him and fly into the air. However, he got shot down by Agent, causing him to fall to the ground, with The Chosen One horribly glitching and having lightning spark around his body. The Second Coming managed to hold them off for some time, but fails with Agent pausing him. The Chosen One tries to use his laser vision and pyrokinetic abilities to fight back, but ends up getting paused by Agent. The Second Coming and The Chosen One are then taken away to the HQ of Rocket Co. and imprisoned.
The Box - Animator vs. Animation 10[]
After his imprisonment, The Chosen One is unpaused. He takes a moment to assess his surroundings before realizing there is no way out of his cage, the Box, especially after Agent drained his superpowers. He finally sees his predecessor, victim, who punches him in the face. The Chosen One retaliates, but Agent amplifies victim's strength and speed, making it hard for The Chosen One to land a blow. The Chosen One increasingly takes damage, especially after victim is given a lasso, and is met by 4 clones of his captor, each with their own weapons.
After narrowly avoiding a devastating attack from The Chosen One, victim gets down to business. He slams his successor into a chair and interrogates him, demanding to know the whereabouts of their shared creator, Alan Becker. The Chosen One refuses to say anything, so victim applies a memory reader to his head and replays his memories, accidentally discovering the events of "The Showdown". There, victim learns of The Second Coming's hidden superpowers and of how Yellow summoned Alan's cursor to help fight The Dark Lord. victim puts a target on Yellow and leaves with his Mercenaries.
Hacker - Animator vs. Animation 12[]
The Chosen One was taken out of The Box and repaused, before being taken by Agent and victim to the site of a previous battle. After noogai3 was tricked into renaming victim into H4CK3R, he restrained the cursor and used it to rename The Chosen One to "NO ONE", causing him to lose his powers, something he rapidly discovered after being unpaused by H4CK3R and falling into the water.
As of "Hacker", his fate is presently unknown.
