This page explains all of Purple's relationships with the other characters in the series.
Family[]
For a long time, Purple desired to please his father, but never could.
[]
Navy is Purple's birth father. From an early age, Navy trained Purple to be a fighter, but tended to be too hard on him, resulting in Purple running to his mom, Pink, for protection. As Purple grew up, Navy would continue to try to train him, but he never lived up to Navy's absurd expectations. He would retreat to Pink once more, but after a while, Navy got fed up with his family, seeing them as weak and incompetent, and he left them, despite Purple begging him to stay.
Pink would pass away soon afterward, leaving Purple orphaned and alone. From that point on, (possibly feeling guilty about Navy leaving, though this is unclear) Purple would go on a relentless pursuit to make him proud, or quite possibly, to bring him back. Everything he did, from becoming king of the Village on the Mac to getting the Ender Dragon egg, was to make Navy proud of him. But as of now, Navy's whereabouts are unknown, and Navy has yet to come back to Purple.

Pink - Late mother[]
Pink is Purple's mother. She is shown to be kind and compassionate for her son, especially when Navy went too hard on him during their training sessions, and Purple is shown to love her greatly. However, when Navy deemed her and Purple as weak, he left them, and Pink would pass away soon after. Her cause of death is unknown though an illness seems to be the main theory.
Purple still cares deeply for Pink, even after she passed into the afterlife. This is shown in Cherry Blossoms, when after getting adopted by King Orange, (and having lived with him for some time now) Purple would go get some cherry blossoms from a Minecraft cherry tree, return to the Outernet, and set the blossoms on Pink's grave. He takes a moment to pay his respects.

King Orange - Surrogate father[]
Purple's relationship with King has evolved greatly since the two first met. When the two first crossed paths, King saw Purple as little more than a pawn and a servant, a means to getting the Minecraft block from the Gang so he could exact revenge against the game for killing his son. Once he got the block, King ditched Purple and left him to die, but once the monarch realized what he was doing, what he was becoming--essentially the very thing he swore to destroy--he stopped what he was doing and chased Purple down. When the two reunited, King gave Purple a warm hug, and Purple returned the favor. The damage was reversed by the Gang, King and Purple received forgiveness from them, and Purple stopped King before he could get too far. The two of them shook hands and went home together, putting their past behind them and starting new lives as father and son. The two of them have remained that familial dynamic ever since, even if very little has been seen of them together thus far.
The King - Part 1[]
King was desperately looking for the Stick Gang in order to get the Minecraft Game Icon. Purple, having met them before, went to King's house with the wanted poster King put up. After showing off some of his fighting and flying skills, Purple was allowed in by King and he helped King during his quest to get the Minecraft block. At this point, King saw Purple as a loyal servant to help get the block, (A means to an end, one might say) as well as his only lead to the Stick Gang. Purple saw King as a leader, (shown by him kneeling in reverence) and over time, a father figure, something he craved since Navy left him and Pink passed away. (It is notable that after Purple gave King his crown, King patted Purple on the head approvingly, like a proud father praising his son).
Parkour[]
Purple tricked the Stick Gang, getting them stuck in a Parkour loop, and afterwards, he flew back to King to update him about the progress of their plan. King patted Purple on the head, expressing his pride for him, and told him what to do next: get the block from ALANSPC and return it to him, allowing them to become all-powerful. Purple applauded the plan, but after hearing that Green escaped, the monarch became enraged. He ordered Purple to get the block, and he bowed in reverence, running off to do exactly that. He pulled his elytra out to fly there, but was attacked by Green. King rescued him from his aggressor, and Purple would fetch the block.
The Ultimate Weapon[]
Purple eventually got the block from ALANSPC, delivering it to King after an intense fight with The Second Coming and Red. After King got the block, he would dismiss Purple, punching him back into the planning room when he asked to hold the Staff. Purple, however, remained loyal to King, bowing before a picture of the two of them holding the staff together. He gathered the Piglins to keep the Fighting Stick Figures busy while King dueled with The Second Coming. The Piglins would prove to be no match for the well-coordinated sticks and when Red bull-rushed him, Purple tried to escape on his elytra, held down by Green and Yellow using fishing rods. Purple tried crying out to King for help, but King--having no more use for Purple--ignored him. Feeling betrayed, Purple would flee to the Note Block Universe.
The King - Part 2[]
After Purple's return to faith, he joined the Stick Gang to help fight King. King, however, overpowered them and their allies and shoot a black hole into the Nether. Despite this, Purple took one last stand against King, who blasted him with his black hole beam, but then he was reminded how much Purple reminded him of his late son Gold. He ignored these thoughts at first, but when Purple got sucked into the hole, King dropped the staff and raced after him, thoughts of his mistreatment of Purple surging through his head.
The two reunited in the black hole, where King--realizing all the pain he was causing--forwent his antagonism and embraced Purple, the one who might have saved his life for the better. After seeing Purple as a pawn, expendable when he got the block, King finally saw him as a son, just as Purple saw King as his dad. After The Second Coming got the staff through the portal, fixing the damage done, King adopted Purple, giving the former a son after Gold's tragic demise and the latter a father he so desperately desired. The two of them would return to the park King took Gold when the latter was younger, strengthening their bond with each other, increasing their love for each other and, above all, healing the other's broken heart.
Ice Skating[]
Around Christmas, Purple and King visited a frozen pond in a Minecraft taiga biome to ice skate and eat some cookies, happier than they have been since their respective losses.
More Faces[]
Purple and King got faces drawn for them by The Second Coming.
King Orange's Speedrun[]
Purple was present to start King off on His Majesty's speedrun, approving his iconic crown and staff before shooting the firework and starting King's run.
Allies[]
Green[]
Purple and Green have a long, storied history together, and their dynamic has changed greatly over the course of the series. When the two first met, Green was excited to meet another stick like him and Green, but Purple was having none of it, seeing Green (and Blue, who was with him) as threats and he had them imprisoned. However, Purple's anger with the sticks eventually cooled off and the three of them embarked on an adventure to kill the Ender Dragon, though that didn't go as planned. The two crossed paths again briefly in League of Legends and again in Minecraft, where Green revealed the plan to destroy Minecraft. He confronted Purple about his betrayal- not the first time Purple betrayed him- but Purple escaped.
Green managed to restrain Purple once again, but he broke away into the Note Block Universe. Green pursued him relentlessly, and eventually Purple broke down and confessed everything. Green forgave him and offered him acceptance and friendship, and Purple did away with his old, back-and-forth nature for good. After a legendary battle with King Orange, the two have remained strong friends ever since.
Villagers[]
Green and Blue saw a strange Purple-colored stick figure in the Nether and, curious, they followed him onto a Mac and ran into a Village. They were apprehended by the villagers and taken to Purple, who at the time, was the king of the village, giving his subjects Nether quartz. Green and Blue, upon meeting Purple for the first time, stood up excitedly and, seeing that he also had quartz, began giving the villagers quartz. This infuriated Purple, who possibly saw them as usurpers of his throne, and he had them thrown into jail.
After bribing their way out, Green and Blue tried to sneak away, but they were found by another villager. They tried bribing it, but the villager offered an emerald for the block of gold in their hand. Other villagers gathered around seeing the varieties of quartz, gold, and purpur blocks Green and Blue had, and the two of them traded furiously. Purple eventually caught wind of this and drew his sword to slay the intruders, but when the villagers created a statue of Purple with the purpur, quartz, and gold given to them, his anger dissipated. He decided to give each of them crowns, making them co-kings with him, and showed them a secret room in his castle which led to a stronghold. After putting the last Eye of Ender into the End Portal, Purple, along with Green and Blue, leapt into the End.
The End[]
After reaching the end, Green and Blue would attempt to defeat the Ender Dragon with fishing rods, a sword, and a bow and arrows, with Purple hanging on for the ride, sometimes literally. They would reach an End Ship, and there, Purple found his elytra. With his new wings, he would fly back to the mainland for the dragon egg, and when the Ender Dragon saw him, she breathed magic on the ship, disintegrating it underneath Blue and Green.
The two of them would be saved by a shulker's levitation projectile, but with their time running out, they cried out to Purple for a rescue. After a moment, Purple would opt for the dragon egg, leaving them to die in the void. They would be rescued by The Second Coming, Red, and Yellow, and Purple returned to his castle, satisfied. However, the dragon would follow him through the portal and wreaked havoc upon the village. Purple begrudgingly gave her the egg back, and he would be overthrown by the villagers before the Stick Gang could confront him for his betrayal.
Animation vs. League of Legends[]
Green and Purple would cross paths once again in Animation vs. League of Legends, where Purple hacked the game to make clones of himself (as well as making the champion of champions) to fight the Stick Gang. After the Stick Gang's victory, and noticing Purple mourning his defeat, The Second Coming would allow Purple a spot on the team, with his clones comprising the opposite team. Red, Yellow, and Blue would charge forward, but when Purple remained, Green stopped and gestured for him to join the others. After a moment of thought, Purple decided to join them, raising his sword into the air.
The Witch and Parkour[]
After the Gang defeated the Witch, they were heading home, but this plan was derailed when they found Purple picking flowers. Purple hugged his secondary-colored counterparts and greeted the others, offering to take them through a portal. The Second Coming was against this, but eventually caved after the Fighting Sticks were persuaded by Red to follow Purple. The Stick Gang competed against each other in a game of Parkour, and for the winner-take-all round, Purple put some purple stained glass on the last beacon, sending them into a Parkour course meant to separate them. Green, however, noticed Purple flying away, and after escaping his loop, he witnessed Purple and King Orange going over their plan to steal the Minecraft Game Icon.
As Purple was about to leave, he was attacked by Green, demanding an explanation for his betrayal. Purple initially played it cool, but when Green wouldn't back down, a fight ensued. When Green took the advantage, nearly pinning Purple to the ground, King used his Staff to choke him and lock him into the prison tower, allowing Purple to escape and go after the block.
The Ultimate Weapon[]
Purple returned to King after successfully getting the block, but when he asked for a turn, King refused and smacked him into the planning room. Purple, however, would remain loyal and he assembled the Piglin army to combat the Fighting Stick Figures while King dueled with The Second Coming. The Piglins, despite their numbers, would prove no match for the sticks and seeing the tide turn, Purple tried to escape, only to be held down by Green and Yellow using fishing rods. When King betrayed him, Purple fled to the Note Block Universe, and Green, despite Yellow telling him not to, broke away and ran after him.
Note Block Universe[]
Green went on a relentless pursuit of Purple, and eventually found him. Purple, seeing Green, ran away, but Green persisted, asking to know why Purple trapped him and his friends, why Purple left him and Blue for dead in the void, and if he is good or evil. Purple, fed up and broken, told Green his entire story: his upbringing, the loss of his parents, and his ultimately fruitless and unending attempts to please his dad, Navy (It is notable that during the Parkour section of Purple's backstory and the Stick Gang blew by him, it was Green who stayed back, seemingly asking if Purple is OK). After finishing, he burst into tears and summoned devil horns and a tail for himself, acknowledging that he has been evil.
Green, filled with compassion for the brokenhearted Purple, gave him his elytra and showed him something he hasn't felt in a long time: acceptance. He forgave Purple on behalf of himself and his friends, helped him onto the top of the mountain and embraced him, accepting him for who he truly is. Purple hugged him back, weeping once again, and promised that he would be better by creating a halo over his head. Green told him not to defy himself like that, waving the halo away, and the two of them returned to the Nether to fight King.
The King[]
Green had a nice moment where he saved a slowed and weakened Purple from getting struck by lightning from King's staff, but despite their best efforts, The Stick Gang and their allies were not enough to defeat King, and Purple realized he had to face King alone. Green tried stopping him, but Purple raced toward his former leader, getting blasted by the beam. However, seeing Purple get sucked into the black hole was what it took to get through to King, who dropped his staff to save Purple. The Stick Gang saved Minecraft, and Green and Purple had a moment together afterwards. The entire Gang then embraced Purple and wished him good-bye as he went home with King. Ever since then, the bond between Green and Purple has remained strong.
Note Block Concert[]
Purple made a cameo in this episode, watching Green's show along with King Orange. Both of them were truly surprised by Green's performance.
Hardcore Manhunt[]
Purple came in clutch when he saved the Gang from falling down a massive chasm, and then saved Green again when after a Helper killed the Phantom Green was riding, Purple swooped in and saved him on the back of his own Phantom.
Piggie Love[]
The two of them can be seen on attending the Heroic Pig's wedding, with Green's arm wrapped around Purple, and both of them cheering.
Too Close to the Sun[]
Green showed off how he could ride on a shield to Purple, only for him to fall and die of fall damage.
Dog Show[]
Purple can be seen putting a hand on Green's shoulder to comfort him while they stand by Green's dog's grave.
The Second Coming[]
While not as rich as his history with Green, Purple and The Second Coming have their own story to tell. When they properly met in League of Legends, the two of them were on opposing sides, leaders of their respective teams. The Second Coming confronted the cheating Purple and eventually ended up winning a nail-biter of a game but when he saw Purple lamenting his loss, The Second Coming offered him his spot on their team. They met back up in Minecraft on opposing sides once again, but after Purple's sacrifice and the Gang's heroics, The Second Coming welcomed him as a friend and they've been friends ever since.
Animation vs. League of Legends[]
The first real interaction between Purple and The Second Coming didn't happen until Animation vs. League of Legends. When the Stick Gang started up a game of League, they came across Purple and his clones on the opposing side. Purple's copies overpowered the Gang, but The Second Coming spotted rustling in the League folder. Upon further investigation, he found Purple hacking the game and making clones.
The Second Coming slashed the files for the clones, making them disappear instantly. Desperate, Purple took a file of Champion data and absorbed it, creating essentially the ultimate boss. With this newfound power, Purple trucked through the Stick Gang and began demolishing their tower. He was one hit away from winning the game when he heard The Second Coming slashing his own tower. He turned around to deal with the intruder, but The Second Coming got one last hit on it at the final moment, securing the victory for himself and his friends.
As the Stick Gang celebrated their victory, they noticed Purple sulking in the corner, mourning his defeat. The Second Coming approached, shook his hand, and hugged him, allowing him his spot on the team while The Second Coming and his own clones comprised the opposing team for a second game. The Fighting Stick Figures charged forward, but Purple was not among them. Green hung back and called for him to join, and after a moment, Purple followed them, raising his sword triumphantly.
The Witch and The Ultimate Weapon[]
The Second Coming met Purple once again after the Gang's encounter with the Witch. Purple tried convincing the Stick Gang to follow him through a Nether Portal. Red was initially on board, but The Second Coming, being the protective and sensible type, convinced him otherwise. However, seeing Purple sulking next to his portal convinced the Fighting Stick Figures, and The Second Coming reluctantly followed, resulting in a "friendly" game of Parkour.
The Second Coming eventually escaped his loop, reunited with Red, and returned to ALANSPC, just as Purple arrived for the Minecraft Game Icon. The Second Coming and Red, suspicious of Purple, kept guard of the block, but Purple put on his elytra and fought them. Despite the odds stacked against him, (He's outnumbered, on unfamiliar turf, and facing arguably the two best fighters in the Gang) Purple succeeded in his quest and returned the block to King Orange, leaving The Second Coming stranded.
The King[]
After Purple's redemption, he, the Gang, and their Minecraft allies tried taking down King. Purple even managed to catch The Second Coming after the Warden tossed him in desperation before getting absorbed. Purple also received a hug from him and the Fighting Stick Figures, welcoming him as a friend, before the two went their separate ways.
More Faces[]
Purple let The Second Coming draw a face on him, and then he drew a new one to reflect Purple's new, reformed self.
Too Close to the Sun[]
Purple waved hello to The Second Coming when he saw him flying with a Minecraft Block, and then laughed to himself when the orange stick fell.
Dog Show[]
Purple demonstrated a few tricks his dog can do for the judges, Red and The Second Coming, during a dog show.
Blue[]
Blue and Purple's relationship has evolved greatly since their first meeting. Due to Purple's initially back-and-forth nature, the two sticks found themselves as friends and foes on multiple occasions. When the two first met, Blue was eager to find a new stick like him, but Purple saw him and Green as threats to his throne and threw them in prison, but the three sticks made amends and even tried defeating the Ender dragon together, although that didn't work out the way they expected.
After a brief meeting in League of Legends where they were on opposing sides again, they crossed paths in Minecraft once more, seemingly as friends, but this was a ruse by Purple and King Orange, putting Purple against the Gang once more. Finally, after Purple's redemption, sacrifice, and revival, Blue and the Gang accepted him as a friend for good. As of now, the two of them are good friends, and while they don't have much screentime together, some of their memorable moments include Blue scaring Purple with a Roblox Man face, Blue starting Purple's speedrun, and the two of them sharing a high-five after everyone finished their speedruns.
Villagers[]
While Blue saw Purple in the episode prior, the first real interaction between the two was in this episode, when after diiscovering a village in a Mac, the villagers abducted Blue and Green and took them before their king, Purple. At first, Blue and Green were excited to meet another stick like them, but after Purple saw them as threats to his throne, he had them imprisoned. Blue and Green bribed their way out and tried to escape, which resulted in a trading frenzy with the villagers. When Purple caught wind of this, he drew his sword to kill the sticks, but when the villagers used the materials they traded for to build a statue of Purple, the monarch's anger dissipated. He crowned Blue and Green as co-kings with him and he showed them his secret End Portal room under his castle. Purple opened the portal and dove in, his cool-colored counterparts following right behind.
The End[]
Upon reaching The End, the three cool-colored sticks set out to defeat the Ender Dragon. Purple showed them how to avoid aggravating the Endermen and in turn, Blue and Green worked together to lure the dragon away from the island, with Blue holding on to Purple during the ride.
Purple, however, had his eye on the Dragon egg, and when he got his elytra, he flew for it, ditching Blue and Green and leaving them to die. They cried out for help, but Purple abandoned them, and they would've died if not for the warm-colored trio catching them before they fell into the void. The five sticks returned to Purple's kingdom and Blue and Green shot him a look for betraying them. Before Purple could be confronted, however, he was overthrown by the villagers after his actions resulted in dragon destroying the village looking for her egg.
Animation vs. League of Legends[]
Blue crossed paths with Purple once again when he and his friends were playing League, with Purple being their opponent in their game. The two sticks didn't spend much time together one-on-one, but after their game and the Gang won, The Second Coming offered Purple his spot on the team, which he eventually accepted. Blue welcomed him to the team and even played another round with him.
The Witch[]
Blue and the Gang met Purple again, this time in Minecraft picking flowers. Purple was eager to see them again and showed them a portal nearby. Despite The Second Coming's reservations, Blue and the rest of the FSF expressed their excitement to follow Purple on another adventure, and the rainbow of sticks ran through the portal.
The Ultimate Weapon[]
Purple, still loyal to King Orange, assembled an army of Piglins to keep the Fighting Sticks at bay. However, the sticks overpowered the Brutes and would've gotten Purple as well if he didn't escape by ditching his elytra.
The King[]
After reverting the damage of King Orange's staff, the Gang, Blue included, hugged Purple and waved him good-bye as he went home with the former monarch.
Hardcore Manhunt[]
Purple hid behind Blue when the sticks discovered the glitchy, corrupted chest.
More Faces[]
Blue's Roblox man face scared Purple away.
Too Close to the Sun[]
Purple waved to Blue when he saw him on a flying machine, until it broke.
Purple's Speedrun[]
Blue started Purple's speedrun.
Speedrun Competition[]
After seeing everyone's final time, Blue gave Purple a congratulatory high-five and then applauded Purple's third-place finish from his fourth-place pedestal.
Red[]
Similar to Yellow, Purple and Red haven't had much time together early on. They briefly met once in Minecraft and later crossed paths in League of Legends, but nothing much until more recently. They've been on opposing sides for a large portion of time, and during that time, they had a fight so long it carried over into the Nether. Even then, Red was the first to notice Purple when he was sulking by his portal and convinced the others to follow him, showing that even before Purple's redemption, Red held compassion in his heart for him.
After Purple's redemption near the end of Animation vs. Minecraft Season 3, the two of them have become very fast friends, and their friendship has grown and blossomed even quicker. Purple has been shown to be a bit of a help and confidant for Red, especially when dozens of efforts to cake Green failed, and Red has welcomed Purple into his life, even doing complicated handshakes together and calling Purple to join the others in watching Green sparring.
Parkour[]
Purple called Red up first during their initial round of Parkour after the training round.
The Ultimate Weapon[]
Red and Purple re-met each other on ALANSPC with Purple being tasked with stealing the Minecraft Game Icon from him and The Second Coming. Their fight carried over into the Nether, where Purple broke away, leaving Red behind and The Second Coming trapped on ALANSPC. Red, with the help of the Baby Piglin, chased after him, eventually catching up and resuming their fight over the block. Their tussle continued until they reached King's bastion, where King choked Red and threw him into a cage.
The King[]
Purple swooped in and caught Red after Herobrine, who was possessing Red, was sucked into King's staff. Purple carried him to safety and was visibly distraught when Red wasn't waking up for a few long moments. However, when Red did, Purple helped him back up to his feet. Finally, after their adventure and so much time being enemies, Red and Green checked up on Purple and the Gang hugged Purple and bid him good-bye, welcoming him as a friend of the Gang, and ever since then, the bond between the two of them has only grown and blossomed.
The Prank[]
Red went to Purple and told him about his numerous failed attempts to prank Green, and Purple was willing to listen and help. After seeing how good Green was at dodging, Purple shrugged in defeat, but after a moment of thought, he made a plan to prank Green. Red, upon seeing it, was quite grateful for it, hugging him, and Purple returned friendly pats on the back before Red raced off to execute Purple's plan.
Hardcore Manhunt[]
Purple and Red were mining together, Red being eager to collect some diamonds, until Yellow spawned a pile of diamonds for them, disappointing Purple. After a night spent in Minecraft, Purple was greeted by Red, who called him outside to watch Green spar with the Helpers. Later on, the two of them worked together as the miners to escape from the Helpers by digging down.
Dog Show[]
Purple demonstrated a few tricks his dog can do for the judges, Red and The Second Coming, during a dog show.
Handshake[]
Purple and Red demonstrated a Level 3 handshake together.
Yellow[]
In comparison to the rest of the Stick Gang, Yellow and Purple have had very little interaction, a few meetings in passing but very little else until recently. Yellow and the others saw Purple getting overthrown by the Villagers, and the Gang fought Purple and his clones during a game of League. Like the rest of the Gang, Yellow and Purple are former enemies turned friends, firstly after The Second Coming accepted Purple at the end of League of Legends, and after Purple redeemed himself and fought back against King Orange. In the aftermath of it all, Yellow, along with the rest of the Stick Gang, embraced Purple, forgiving him and accepting him as a friend.
Purple, in turn, is also shown to be caring to Yellow, as Purple comforted him when they were stuck for three nights on top of the cobblestone pillar that the Gang made in Hardcore Manhunt. However, it's worth noting that Purple was not a fan of Yellow gaming the system with his staff in that same episode, the only one among the main six to do so. Whether or not this plays a factor later on is still to be determined.
Animation vs. League of Legends[]
Yellow was one of the first to notice Purple sulking after his defeat.
The Ultimate Weapon[]
Yellow urged Green to not chase after Purple after the latter got betrayed himself, but Green broke away from Yellow anyway.
The King[]
Purple dropped Yellow off during their final attack, though that was ultimately ineffective. After their battle, Yellow and his friends hugged Purple good-bye and then waved as Purple went home with King Orange.
Hardcore Manhunt[]
Purple was the only stick of the rainbow-colored six to have any issue--albeit relatively minor ones--with Yellow hacking the game with his staff. Later on, Purple helped Yellow onto their shared platform and even comforted him while they were stranded for days on end.
King Orange's Speedrun[]
Yellow and Purple were together to prepare and start King Orange for his speedrun.
