History[]
Purple and his parents during the Newgrounds Massacre
Early life - (Victim and Note Block Universe)[]
Purple was created by an unknown animator alongside his father Navy and his mother Pink[1], and uploaded onto Newgrounds. When The Chosen One and The Dark Lord destroyed Newgrounds, Purple and his parents escaped and returned to live in the Outernet.
When Purple was young, his father trained him to become an expert combatant, but did so very forcefully and without holding back much, if at all, resulting in Purple losing each time. His mother heavily disapproved of this forceful training and tried to defend him from it, failing each time, until Purple's father had enough of Purple's incompetence and the mother trying to halt the training, and then left the family. Purple's mother eventually passed away due to an illness. Purple feels spiteful because of these events and has since been on a quest to find his father and impress him, hindered by obstacles along the way.

King Purple - (Villagers and The End)[]
Purple took over a village on a Mac[2] at some point long before meeting the stick figures.
Blue and Green had just finished their trek in the Nether and were about to return to ALANSPC when they noticed Purple, who noticed them back. They followed him through the portal.[3]
Purple lives in a Mac computer of an unknown owner, where he is the only stick figure.[2] In the computer, there is a sizable village. Shortly after this, it is revealed that Purple lives in a castle and is, in fact, the king of the villagers. At first, Purple disliked Blue and Green because he thought they wanted to take over his kingdom, sending the duo to jail, then, seeing the villagers benefiting from Blue and Green's trades and his newly built kingdom, he eases up, crowns the duo as kings, and brings them to the End.
Purple, Blue, and Green arrive in the End.[4] Green hooks the ender dragon with a fishing rod and used a sword to control it. Purple and Blue hook on it's tail and the trio fly outside the range of the End crystals, causing them to summon the dragon egg and open the portal back. They reach the End cities, where Purple and Blue get smacked onto an End ship. Green loses his sword and thus control of the ender dragon, which flies back towards its home. Blue finds and pulls a lever to fly the End ship towards the ender dragon while Purple obtains his iconic elytra. Blue, nearly at the ender dragon's home, tries to hook the ender dragon's tail and reverse, but it throws Green onto the End ship. Purple, blinded by the thought of presenting the dragon egg to his father and impressing him, flies off alone to get it, and when the ender dragon destroys the End ship, he has a choice to save Green and Blue or get the dragon egg at the cost of their lives, and he chooses to leave them. The ender dragon follows him into the portal and as a result, his newly-made kingdom gets destroyed by it, which is searching for the Egg. Once Purple half-heartedly gives the egg back, the villagers overthrow him, stripping him of his kingship over them.

League of Legends[]
Purple fights with The Second Coming and the Fighting Stick Figures in League of Legends as an act of revenge from a previous encounter. He programs 5 clones and hacks the game to try to get revenge on the Stick Figures. Later, The Second Coming escapes, meeting with Purple. The Second Coming uses his weapons to destroy the .dll files of the clones, but Purple eats the data of the League of Legends champion powers. Then he gets those powers and easily defeats the Fighting Stick Figures with a monstrous worm that is summoned and is about to destroy the base of the figures, but races back to stop The Second Coming from destroying his base. The Second Coming and the others win, reconcile with Purple, and play another round of LoL, this time playing against The Second Coming's Clones.
Purple and King Orange - (Animation vs. Minecraft Shorts Season 3)[]
Purple and King Orange have a long history with each other.

Meeting the Majesty - (The King)[]
After the events of Animation vs. League of Legends, Purple was in the Outernet, although it is unknown how he got there. He saw King Orange putting wanted posters up for the fighting stick figures and The Second Coming, he takes one of the posters off the wall and then he goes to his house and knocks on his door, wishing to help King Orange. King Orange opens the door, but doesn't yet seem convinced that Purple is worthy enough to help him. Sensing what King Orange was thinking, Purple demonstrates what he is capable of, showing fighting moves and his flying skills. King Orange then lets him inside the house. Purple sees a photo of a yellow-colored stick figure, who was King Orange's son. However, King Orange takes the photo away from him. They then both enter a makeshift cave, going further, they reach the nether portal. King lights the portal with his staff and travel through the nether, eventually stopping at a bastion remnant, encountering a short fight against the piglin brutes, getting the piglin brutes to be loyal to him and rewarding them with gold ingots for bowing down to him. He then commands the piglins to go to their stations. King Orange builds a throne and Purple gifts him one of his crowns.

A King and his Pawn - (Parkour and The Ultimate Weapon)[]
A plan is then devised (presumably by King Orange) to find the Stick Gang, which Purple does following the stick figures' close encounter with the Witch.[5] Purple is gathering flowers near a portal, but The Second Coming initially refuses to head into it with his friends. He leads his friends home, but Red sees Purple sadly waiting and convinces everyone else to come.
The portal leads the stick figures to a seemingly friendly parkour competition.[6] But it was a trap set up by King Orange and operated by Purple. Purple meets up with King Orange to further discuss plans of stealing the Minecraft game icon. When news breaks out that Green escaped from the parkour zone, King Orange sends Purple to ALANSPC to steal the Minecraft block. Green attacks Purple because of Purple's betrayal and tries to stop him; just when he is about to get the upper hand over Purple, King Orange captured Green. Purple continues towards ALANSPC, though he had a hard time locating its entry portal due to the misleading compass. He asks a baby piglin of its whereabouts and then started flying towards it.

Abandoned Again - (The Ultimate Weapon)[]
After Purple enters through the Nether portal into ALANSPC[7], he turns around and is surprised to see Red and The Second Coming there. Purple tries to act nonchalant, playing cool as he walks to where the Minecraft icon was supposed to be, but finds it missing.[8] Being suspicious of Purple, Red and The Second Coming open the start menu, showing the icon to Purple. Purple tries to retrieve it, but the two guard it, continuing to act nonchalant. Purple then fights the duo, taking the block from ALANSPC and flies to King Orange. He gets tackled by Red, who follows him, and has a midair fight with him, before Red is captured. Purple gets the block from him, and gives it to King Orange on his knees, where he witnessed the powers given to King Orange. Purple wants some of the power but King Orange electrocutes him and knocks him all the way to the Plan Room. After a while, he gets up & bows down, showing his unwavering loyalty to King Orange, and gets the Piglin Brute army to attack the Fighting Stick Figures. When he sees that the Piglin Army is losing, Purple tries to escape but gets held down by Yellow and Green using a fishing rod. He manages to escape by pulling off his Elytra and escapes to a completely different portal after King Orange betrays him, being chased by Green.

Return to Faith - (Note Block Universe and The King)[]
Green chases Purple through the Note Block Universe and eventually corners him on a mountaintop, where he tells his story.[1] Green feels bad for him and gives him his elytra back. They head back to the portal together, where Purple punches King Orange just as he starts destroying Nether blocks and Purple takes the staff away from King Orange. He tried to find a way to stop the black hole from consuming everything, but couldn’t seem to find a method. As Yellow was distracted by the medium-sized Titan Ravager, King Orange grabbed Yellow's staff and used it to give negative effects to Purple, taking the staff from him and knocking him down.
During the final battle, Purple helps catch the other stick figures when they are knocked back. Purple then decides to confront King Orange himself, and he pushes through King Orange's beam. Just then, King Orange has flashbacks of him with his own son, comparing Gold to Purple, but he does not stop. However, when Purple finally succumbs to the beam, King Orange realizes what he had done and runs into the beam after Purple.
Inside of the beam, Purple is trapped behind the wall playing the animation reprising King Orange and Gold's last moments together and King Orange's descent into madness. After King Orange breaks down the wall, he sees Purple in a petaled floor, and runs to him. Purple sees King Orange as his own father and accepts a hug from King Orange.

Aftermath - (The King)[]
After The Second Coming stopped the staff’s beam by forcing it through the Nether portal, Purple was forced out of the void along with everyone else. King Orange had capitulated to the Stick Figures after noticing how damaging his actions were. He surrendered his crown to Purple and his staff to Yellow. Purple put his crown on the pig and received a group hug from the Gang, finding five new friends in the process, before going home with King Orange, accepting him as his father.
Purple is later seen hanging out with King Orange on the same playground that King Orange and Gold used to go to, and ever since then, he's been shown to be a close friend to the Gang as well.

Purple is seen ice skating with King Orange, hence the name of the short.

Purple is represented by fireworks.
Cherry Blossoms[]
Purple is in a cherry blossom biome, and picks a sapling out of one of the leaves. He heads back towards the Outernet, leaves his house, and flies towards the distance. Purple walks down a sidewalk and eventually heads to his mother's grave. He places a flower pot in front of the grave and the cherry sapling in it, pausing to pay his respects.
Bob Is Always There[]
While Bob was buried in the taskbar of ALANSPC, Purple visits The Second Coming and the Fighting Stick Figures at some point.
Piggie Love[]
Purple attends the Heroic Pig's wedding ceremony.
Animation vs. Minecraft Shorts Season 4[]

The Prank[]
Red visits Purple in his treehouse, and asks for help to prank Green. Purple tries hitting the imaginary Green, to no avail. Purple is stumped at first, but then comes up with a genius idea, which he shows Red by changing the imaginary scenarios into one plan, while imaginary Green is gesturing Purple to stop. Red is shocked by the plan, and hugs Purple, who pats Red on the back, and watches as Red accidentally jumps out the window.

More Faces[]
Purple gets a face drawn for him by The Second Coming. After the first attempt fails, The Second Coming draws him a new face along with a flower necklace. This one gets Purple's approval and reveals the rest of the Stick Gang's faces, fleeing and running away after seeing Blue's face.
Too Close to the Sun[]
Purple is flying through the sky, waving to each member of the Stick Gang as they appear below him. When The Second Coming accidentally lets go of the Minecraft game icon and he falls, Purple giggles and laughs to himself.
Dog Show[]
Purple competes in a dog show judged by The Second Coming and Red. He shows off what his dog can do: Flip, balance a ball on its nose, and howl on command. Later on, Purple can be seen with a hand on Green's shoulder as the latter mourns the loss of his dog.

Handshake[]
Purple, along with Red, demonstrate how to do a Level 3 handshake, which involves the two participants slapping hands a couple of times, a butt bounce, and finishes by holding hands for a moment before tossing them up in the air joyfully.
Purple's Speedrun[]
Purple speedruns Minecraft. Starting in a jungle, he harvests and climbs massive bamboo stalks, which he uses as stilts to stomp a couple of endermen to death and collects their ender pearls. He then collects sugar cane, turns it into paper, makes a glider with bamboo and paper and launches himself into the air. He stops at a blacksmith, finds obsidian in it, uses it to finish a ruined portal, and enters the Nether. With a staff of bamboo, he jousts a couple of blazes, follows an eye of ender to the stronghold, and opens the portal to the end. He flies to one of the pillars and quickly makes a decoy dragon to lure the ender dragon away. He finishes his speedrun, albeit after resisting the dragon egg, his final time being 4:50.79.

Purple demonstrates the sneaky way of opening a door, which involves Blue opening it and Purple sneaking in behind him.

Speedrun Competition[]
After Purple completes his speedrun, he spawns next to a giant sign showing everyone's time. Everyone gathers around and Yellow organizes the times, showing that Purple got third. He cheers and laughs before he and everyone else is teleported to their appropriate podiums by Yellow. Purple shows off his third-place trophy before seeing King applauding all of them. After Red volunteers him, Purple is present to start King's speedrun, which he does, watching King take home the diamond trophy.
Animation vs. Minecraft Shorts Season 5[]
Hardcore Manhunt[]
Purple steps through a Nether Portal and eagerly greets his friends. Blue is cooking breakfast for everyone and, once they eat, they go on adventures together. However, while the Gang cheers Yellow and his staff, Purple is notably the only one confused and disappointed. As the sun sets, Purple starts building them a house, but Yellow uses his staff again and makes them a bigger home, which he eventually teleports to a Cherry Grove, makes and animates Helpers, tasks them with sorting and putting away their items, and the sticks go to bed.
After waking up the next morning, Red calls Purple outside to watch Green practice his sword fighting with the Armor Stands. The others applaud Green's performance, but then a glitch pulsates through the Overworld, corrupting a chest. Purple gets a closer look, but quickly retreats, seemingly scared of the strange glitching. Blue and Green try dealing with it, but when their attempts fail, Yellow--with his solve any problem instantly staff--is the next stick up. However, this only makes the problem worse when the staff gets corrupted as well, sending them into hardcore mode.
At first, the sticks are confused as to the strange look of their hearts, so they experiment with an armor stand. When it doesn't respawn, they look for it, but as they do, and the armor stands rebel, using the Squad's armor and weapons from the chests. Yellow, once again, tries fixing things with his staff, but it gets corroded from existence. Without means of fighting back, the Squad runs away alongside his friends through multiple biomes.
During the chase, Purple puts on his wings and, during their first fight, provides aerial support with his fireworks. They escape by digging down, Red and Purple being the miners, right into a chasm. Purple tries to save his friends with his Elytra, and he does, but he runs out of fireworks. Flapping his wings like their lives depended on it, Purple almost reaches the hole they came through, but his wings shatter on dripstone. Blue and Red save everyone and they escape the chasm, but are spotted by the Armor Stands once again.
Purple leads the way through a swamp until The Second Coming began building upwards. The sticks climb up the cobblestone column, building a platform for them. Purple helps Yellow onto it, and they have to stay there for multiple days while the armor stands camp below them. One night, after a Phantom attack, the sticks notice the Stands climbing the tower. The sticks panic, with Purple banging the cobblestone in anger, but thanks to Red being a decoy, they eventually escape on Phantoms. However, the leader of the Armor Stands hijacks Green's Phantom and kills it, but Purple quickly swoops in to save him. His Phantom meets its end as well, but the primaries and The Second Coming save them briefly before they get bucked off the last Phantom. They fall into a snowy biome unharmed, and Purple briefly shivers from the cold.
