The Piglin Chief is the leader of a nomadic Piglin Tribe inhabiting the Nether. He is seen met Blue as the latter was searching for nether wart, a journey which would eventually get him involved in a destructive war that would decide the fate of his tribe.
Appearance[]
The Chief is similar in appearance to the other piglins. He is distinguished by his iconic golden armor, as opposed to the leather worn by his crew.

The Piglin War[]
Baby Piglin introduces the tribe to Blue and shows them a picture of the nether wart he's after. However, the piglins draw out their weapons and chase the stick figure, but are later much friendlier after the child gives Blue a golden helmet to wear. They resume their discussion about nether wart; the group then packs their supplies and mount their hoglins, departing towards the volcanic hellscapes in search of the nether wart.
Blue loses his helmet mid-journey. The piglins attack, while also fighting off an army of Zombified Piglins. Blue himself is thrown down into a lava lake, but survives by landing on a strider. He recovers his helmet and the piglins, running from the zombified piglins, are glad to see him again. They ride a fleet of striders through the lava, with the Chief steering the creatures with a warped mushroom. After Blue saves the child piglin from a zombified piglin in the lava and loses his helmet in the process, the piglins don't attack, but are instead thankful for his heroic acts.
The caravan reaches land again, and Blue is escorted to the entrance of a Nether Fortress, where nether wart is supposed to grow. Blue thanks the piglin tribe and leaves them, but doesn't find what he was looking for.
On their way back, the tribe comes across the Stick Gang, accompanied by a pig following Blue's scent. The Chief orders an attack on the outsiders, but lowers his arms when the pig appears to be friendly with the stickmen. When Red asks for any signs of Blue, the Chief is more than happy to give them directions. The sticks and the piglins part ways, while in the fortress, a Witch, disguised as The Second Coming, takes Blue through a portal.
The King[]
The piglin tribe is startled by a gigantic black hole, caused by King Orange's staff, which rapidly absorbs the Minecraft World. The Chief gives the Stick Gang a ride on his hoglin to take the staff and the two Minecraft Game Icons contained inside back into ALANSPC. The piglins and the Fighting Stick Figures disintegrate in the process, but The Second Coming accomplishes the mission just before the black hole destroys the portal that takes him back home. The Overworld is automatically recreated. The Chief hands Blue some warped fungus before bidding farewell.
Trivia[]
- The Chief is very protective of his tribe, especially the Baby Piglin. Considering how protective he is of the latter, it is possible that he and the Baby Piglin are father and son, though this was not confirmed.
