The Orb is the primary antagonist of "Lucky Blocks" and "Lucky Block Staff". It is an orb of light that infinitely generates all the items that come out of the Lucky Blocks.
Appearance[]
The Orb is a small glowing ball of yellowish-white light. When possessing an entity, they will have a glowing orb stuck on their forehead. When in possession of the staff via Lucky Block, the Orb sits at the tip of the staff.
Personality[]
Despite appearing as a mindless power, the Orb appears to be sentient or at least semi-sentient as it is capable of possessing people and objects, such as Yellow and his staff after a Lucky Block was placed in by Red. Initially, the Orb itself appears to bend to the will of its wielder when used by someone as Yellow was able to create many mystical things that aren't accessible in normal Minecraft but after overusing it, the Orb managed to take control of Yellow and force him out of his own body.
After taking control of a host, the orb shows itself as a hostile entity that attacks the rest of the stick figures and is even capable of possessing them simultaneously. Its exact goals aren't understood as it seems to attack those whom it conceives as disrupting its purpose of maintaining the Lucky Dimension and when Red placed a Lucky Block inside of Yellow's Staff, the Orb took notice of how it affected the transport blocks and used this to its advantage to allow it to cross over and take control of the staff.
Upon realizing that the staff has the ability to draw out the full potential of the block that it wields, in this case the Lucky Block, the Orb sought to use the staff's ability in conjuction with its own to empower itself and seek further power by using it to rebuild its temple in the shape of a giant staff, where it could replicate more staffs to house different blocks, showing a desire to increase its power for reasons unknown.
Despite its chaotic nature, the Orb has shown to be vastly intelligent by its ability to use Red's manipulation of the Lucky Block to its advantage by allowing it to take control of the staff and return with it back to its home. There, the Orb replicated the staff in mass in the form of a golden variant which it gifted to many mobs and sentient objects, but even more so in creating a network of staffs around it, each holding a different block's ability as it sought to add more blocks it found useful from its enemies.
The Orb does not seem to hesitate doing the quickest best move to take against who fought it, for example, encasing everyone in bedrock, distract The Second Coming with snowballs acknowledging his sculk sensor staff before taking it, and trying to shoot green with laser from the redstone block instead of encasing him in bedrock as that would require more time to rotate the bedrock staff to Green's side. It also seems to prioritize increasing its power instead of defeating its enemies, like stealing Yellow’s redstone staff, instead of just encasing him in bedrock.

Lucky Blocks - AVM Shorts Episode 19[]
While the rest of the Stick Gang were dealing with a diamond-clad zombie, a curious Yellow opened up his lucky block and discovered the Lucky Dimension. While there, he discovered the Orb on a pedestal shooting random objects and mobs. Ever more curious, Yellow carefully walked over to it and removed it from its post, causing it to stop dispensing things. He tried placing it down, and random objects appeared at his feet. Excited for his new discovery, Yellow took the Orb back to the desktop to show his friends.
After reaching the desktop, Yellow showed the Orb and its powers off to his friends, giving them gifts which they enjoy greatly. As he begins playing with it himself, Yellow suddenly becomes possessed by the Orb, his soul/consciousness exiting his body. His friends notice the Orb-possessed Yellow crouching and go over to help, but the Orb attacks them. Yellow is horrified and tries to stop the Orb, but he cannot inflict a blow on his possessed body.
As Yellow helped his friends, his efforts proved futile as the Orb began infecting Blue, Green, and The Second Coming, until Red was the last one standing. The Orb soon possessed him as well, but a last-ditch effort, a Pig spawned by Red, managed to strike Yellow's body so hard the Orb flew off of his head and returned to its podium in the Lucky Dimension, reverting the damage done.
Lucky Block Staff - AVM Shorts Episode 33[]
The Orb was back on its pedestal when it noticed an electrified Lucky Block selector, shocked due to Red putting a Lucky Block in Yellow's staff. Intrigued, the Orb pulled one of the selectors over to it and teleported itself to ALANSPC. It appeared on top of the staff, surprising Red, and took control of it, attacking Red viciously.
Green was woken up by this and observed the changes to their house. He saved Red in the nick of time and, in the process, Blue, The Second Coming, and Yellow were also woken up. The Orb continued attacking them, aside from Yellow, and made its blocks into a giant hammer to pound them, but Yellow created some barrier blocks with a command block to stop this attack. Using the same command block, Yellow trapped the Orb in a barrier block box.
The Orb, however, refused to be contained. It opened the lucky block in the staff and sucked everything and everyone inside of it. After returning to its world, it took the staff with it and returned to its post. It rose its temple higher and higher and generated other mobs, each with their own staffs to combat the Stick Gang.
As the Stick Gang fought their way to the top of the tower, the Orb made it into a staff shape and surrounded itself with not only a circle of random blocks, but also various staffs to fight the Gang. The Gang seemed to get an early advantage, but one by one, each member was encased in bedrock until Red was the last one left. At the last moment, Red threw his beehive into a portal leading to the Orb's staff. The Orb was attacked by a swarm of angry bees, and one Beeper, who after getting a nod of approval, exploded violently. The Orb was blown off the staff and fell into the distance, with its whereabouts currently unknown.
Powers & Abilities[]
- Minecraft-based Creation: The orb can create both ordinary and bizarre Minecraft mobs, and blocks.
- Possession: The Orb can possess other beings by touching their forehead or shooting a small white laser beam at their forehead, which creates another orb on them. However the first possession will only happen to whoever is holding it. Possessed beings' abilities include:
- Creation: Like the lucky block, they can create various Minecraft mobs, and blocks.
- Manipulation: When in possession of the staff via a lucky block, the Orb can take on new forms by transmuting or spawning blocks and items and shaping itself into any shape it desires.
- Staff Duplication: With its powers amplified by the staff, the Orb can duplicate the staff and imbue the duplicates with any block or mob power it desires and create a one-orb army for offensive or defensive purposes. These duplicates can either be wielded by its spawned creations or by itself. However, the duplicate staffs can be stolen.
- Black Hole Creation: The orb can create a "black hole" and pull itself and its surroundings back into the Lucky Dimension. (NOTE: This isn’t actually an ability of the Orb. This is just the orb using a portal inside of the lucky block.)
Weaknesses[]
- Helmets: When trying to possess another being, the process becomes more difficult when the intended victim is wearing a helmet.
- Brute Force: Slamming into a possessed being can knock the orbs out of their forehead, and causes the Orb to return to the Lucky Dimension. If it returns to the pedestal, it will will send a shockwave, which deletes all other orbs outside of the dimension.
- Barrier Blocks: Given that these blocks are indestructible, the Orb is vulnerable to being trapped or exposed by the blocks via the command block. Even with the power of the staff, the Orb cannot destroy or transmute the barrier blocks.

- The Orb when spawning entities emits a sound identical to the sound when a staff is used.
- When the Lucky Block Staff broke apart, you can see the Orb flying away into the distance.
