"New Wallpaper" is the thirty-first Actual Short of Season 1.

Unofficial Synopsis[]

Yellow and Green sneak into Alan's iPhone and change the wallpaper.

Plot[]

Alan is on his iPhone when Green walks by and looks at him. Alan's daughter calls him so he puts his phone down and leaves the room. Yellow walks towards Green and whispers something in his ear. They giggle to each other and they both head into Alan's iPhone. Once there, Yellow taps and holds down on Green and sets him as the phone wallpaper. both Green and Yellow celebrate this, and the latter climbs up and presses "Done".

Alan walks back into the room and gets on his phone, he sees Green which causes him to flinch and throw his phone down. He then picks up his phone and sees Yellow and Green laugh at their prank, saying "Real funny, guys."

  • Alan's computer runs Windows 10, but has a Windows 11 file explorer.
Both versions - UI errors: The file explorer is Windows 11, even though Alan's computer runs Windows 10.

  • His pen display tablet (Huion GT-221 Pro) didn't appear for some reason. This is also the same for Wanted.
  • In the end short, the lock-screen time font before iOS 16 was used.

Trivia[]

  • Alan is seen searching up “how to bribe your child” just before Yellow appears onscreen, implying that he is having trouble doing something with her daughter.
  • Alan's daughter is heard in this short, but she does not actually appear.
  • This is the first time since Animator vs. Animation 4 that Alan has animated an iPhone screen.
    • In the AVG Reacts video for this, Alan says that he actually does not have an iPhone.
  • This is the only Actual Short that involves talking (not counting text hovering above a character's head) from Alan Becker and his daughter. It also is the first time Alan verbally interacts with the Stick Gang, with him saying "real funny, guys" after Green and Yellow prank him.
  • This is the only Actual Short where one of Alan's family members calls him out of his room to do something.
