The Heroic Pig, nicknamed Reuben and Truffle Pig by DJ, is one of Red's pigs who is one of the protagonists in Season 3 of the Animation vs. Minecraft Shorts. The Heroic Pig was summoned by Red when Red, Green, Yellow, and The Second Coming were trying to figure out where Blue went.
Appearance[]
The Heroic Pig appears as a regular pig, he wears a crown only once in "The King".

The Piglin War[]
While trying to search for Blue's whereabouts, Red summons a pig to track him down, eventually leading all of them to the Nether.
The Witch[]
The Heroic Pig captured by the witch and is held in a cage for the majority of the episode. When the witch is distracted, he consumes most of the potions laying around and gains similar powers as a previous pig.
Parkour[]
The Heroic Pig entered the portal along with the stick figures. The pig was carried by Purple all the time due to his inability to complete the parkour course. While the stick figures are distracted at the parkour course Purple with the pig gets out of the parkour dimension revealing it to be a room of endless parkour courses bordered with obsidian wall. The pig was later handled to a piglin brute and imprisoned at the bastion. At the end of the episode, the pig was seen with Green imprisoned in another cell.
The Ultimate Weapon[]
The pig was freed out of his cell along with Green. They try to make way to a secret room where King Orange took Yellow and Blue and told to them the plan of King Orange. They prepare for a fight with King Orange after it make some cages for the stick figures. While fighting, the pig along with the items of the stick figures floats and vanished into of thin air at the same time Purple harnessed the power of the Master Block.
The King[]
The pig comes back to life after the black hole effect was reversed. After King Orange returned the crown to Purple, he decided to give the pig the crown.

While Bob was embedded in the taskbar of ALANSPC, the pig started a family at some point.
Piggie Love[]
The pig and another pig falls in love. They are shown to get married and then have a piglet. This might be a reference to Bob Is Always There - An Actual Short.
Powers & Abilities[]
Being a pig, he is just like any other neutral pig mobs in the game, when he isn't enhanced by potions.
- Keen sense of Smell: The Pig has a keen sense of smell and can sniff out something the stick figures couldn't. In AVM Shorts Episode 21, he can apparently tell that the salmon is Red just by smelling him.
- Emotionally Intelligent: Despite not being able to speak, he is able to understand the stick figures' feelings.
When he drinks the potions, he gains a lot of powerful abilities.
- Super Strength: The pig gains superior strength, almost on par with the stick figures. He can break the metal cage he was being held in with ease.
- Super Speed: He can move very fast, something normal pigs couldn't do. He was so fast, he broke the metal cage.
- Expert Fighter: Drinking the potions allowed him to fight really well. He can punch, kick, tackle, and headbutt with seemingly little difficulty. He can even zoom into enemies rapidly and performs impossible feats of skill when fighting. When the pig turns the witch into a purple dye, he launches him into the sky, sending him blasting off.

- Parented to the Minecraft Game Icon: He will get sucked into the Minecraft game icon if the icon travels to a different dimension.

Trivia[]
- Red appears to love and cares for the pig. This appears to be proven in Episode 21 where he attacked the Witch without hesitation after he hears the pig screaming for help.
- In the scene where the Witch turned the chest and brewing stand into moving objects, the pig was not in the cage.
- In the scene where the effects pops out, the pig gets some effects that does not even affect the pig in a way that they used to.
- In the same scene, all of the effects are repeated twice except: Health Boost, Saturation, Hero of the Village, Invisibility, Levitation, Glowing, Gotta Go Fast, Dolphin's Grace, Conduit Power, and Techno Power.
- In the same scene, the repeated effects have the old icon next to them. These are: Strength, Speed, Fire Resistance, Absorption, Resistance, Jump Boost, and Night Vision.
- In the same scene, Fire Resistance is the only one that repeats three times.
- The pig gets the Invisibility effect and as the name implies, it is supposed make the mob or entity who inherits it invisible. The pig is still visible while having the effect however.
- The pig also gets the Levitation effect. It makes somebody rise up slowly while having the effect, losing the ability to control their ascent and descend. The pig is still having control of his ascent and can even drop down while having the effect.
- It also inherits the Glowing effect which surrounds the the mob or entity that has the effect with white outline that is still visible even when blocked and far away. Like the other effects with this case the pig also does not have this side effect while having it.
- Another effect with this case is Slow Falling which allows to slow the descent of a mob or entity and even losing fall damage when landing. However the pig can fasten its fall while having this effect. Unlike the other effect with this case the pig still have actions that is related to the effect (like floating, no fall damage and staying in the air).
- The pig also gets the Instant Health effect, and although the name applies it is instant, the effect lasts three minutes.
- In the same scene, the pig received the TechnoPower and Gotta Go Fast effect which does not exist in the Vanilla Minecraft. The buffs given by the two effects is unknown and could be just cosmetic. It is an Easter Egg. Both effects references Technoblade and Sonic the Hedgehog, respectively.
- This pig is immune to swords that doesn't hit the pig by the center.
- The pig was given a crown in episode 30, in reference and honor, again, of Technoblade, who passed away 5 months before the premiere of the episode.
- This pig does not have an official name, But in the subtitles, it is nicknamed as "Reuben" by the Patreons after the famous pig pet of Minecraft: Story Mode in the original AvM.
- Unlike the other mobs and Herobrine, the Heroic Pig died before AvM 30.
