"Hangman" is the twelfth Actual Short of Season 1.
Summary[]
The stick figures are playing hangman.
Plot[]
Alan starts a game of Hangman with his stick figures, first one to guess is Red, who guesses "E", which is in the text, the rest of the letters guessed are A, W, Y, M and W, but then they begin to lose by guessing the wrong letters, the text ended up being "MY _A_E_ C_A_E __EW AWAY" (with incorrect letters H, S, B, D, G, and O, guessed in that order). The game ended with a stick figure hanging on the hanger, and then it comes to life, which is very shocking, especially for the Fighting Stick Figures and The Second Coming. The stick figure with the unofficial name "Hangman" then waves at all the other stick figures before they run away.
It droops in disappointment.

- The solution to the prompt is "MY PAPER CRANE FLEW AWAY", a reference to an old video of Alan's called "My paper crane flew away".
- This is the second time this video has been referenced, the first being "Enchanted Origami".
- In a reply to a YouTube comment who thought Hangman would start choking after coming to life, Alan initially considered such idea, but though it was too dark.
- This is the second time Alan has unintentionally created a new stick figure, the first being The Second Coming, not counting the Kickstarter.
- This is the fifth time he's created a new stick figure overall, not counting the Kickstarter.
