“LETMEIN!!!” — Glitch Green trying desperately to enter Green's password, Burnout - Influencer Arc Ep. 3 |
Glitch Green is the main antagonist of Influencer Arc.
Appearance[]
Glitch Green is a physical rectangular video file that plays or cycles through frames of a corrupted version of its video. When it gained sentience, it manifested a body similar to Green but with lighter complexion and anaglyph 3D effect outlines. Later, Glitch Green gains a body composed of multiple other videos, giving it a more bestial appearance. In this form, it has a large upper body with large and powerful arms and a smaller lower body and legs.
History[]
Green's Channel! - Influencer Arc Ep. 1[]
Glitch Green is the first iteration of "Super Orange vs. Greenzilla," titled "Superhero video" at the time. During its creation, many unnecessary and oversaturated effects were added to the video, causing the resulting video to corrupt. The file takes five hours to encode and create because of that. The gang, disappointed with the initial results, creates a better quality video by removing the unnecessary effects, and later uploads it as the second video on Green's channel.
While they are watching the video, Glitch Green transforms and gains sentience. It manifests the body of Greenzilla from the video. While attempting to communicate with the stick figures, its glitching causes it to strike Green, resulting in a fight between Glitch Green and the stick figures. During the fight, Glitch Green absorbs the files for several effects in Adobe Premier Pro, gaining a variety of new abilities. It is eventually defeated when the stick figures team up to dunk it into the Recycle Bin.
Burnout - Influencer Arc Ep. 3[]
When the stick figures, minus Green, notice the Recycle Bin beginning to act strangely and attempt to empty it, Glitch Green emerges from it with a new, stronger body made up of other videos that Green deleted previously and begins to fight them. After the stick figures fail to get the attention of Green, who is still in his recording room checking his channel, Glitch Green manages to subdue them and go to Green's channel in Google Chrome, where it attempts to upload itself to the channel. Before it can succeed, Red manages to sign out of the channel, and Glitch Green is unable to sign back in. Glitch Green returns to Green's channel, but without being signed in, is unable to join the rest of the videos in the channel. After the stick figures attempt to get Green's attention a second time, Glitch Green traps them in a box made of lightning before watching the videos on Green's channel.
Green eventually decides to take a break from uploading to his channel and, upon leaving his recording room, discovers the remains of the Recycle Bin and realizes from one of his old YouTube shorts that Glitch Green has returned. He discovers the other stick figures trapped on his channel page and a fight between Green and Glitch Green begins. The stick figures are briefly able to escape the lightning box after it is damaged by one of Glitch Green's lightning attacks, only for Glitch Green to notice and immediately trap them again. When this happens, Green notices that the videos that compose Glitch Green's body are all videos that he previously deleted, and realizes that Glitch Green is upset about having been discarded by its creators. After Green manages to remove and upload one of the videos in Glitch Green's body, Glitch Green calms down and allows him to upload the rest of its videos, including the original corrupted version of "Super Orange vs. Greenzilla."
Near the end of the episode, the stick figures watch the corrupted video (now titled "Superhero video v1) and celebrate one of their earliest projects on the channel together.
Personality[]
Glitch Green is an entity characterized by its glitchy quirks. As much as it likes to act out of it, its actions are nearly controlled by this impulse. Its assault on Green can be interpreted as it being upset for being discarded, only to act unintentionally hostile due to its glitchy nature. This characteristic caused a big misunderstanding between it and the Fighting Stick Figures.
In the end, it showed that it only wanted one thing: to be uploaded.
Powers & Abilities[]
Glitch Green, with its corrupt and glitched body, has lots of abilities.
- Video/Glitch Physiology: Glitch Green's glitchy video physiology gives it unique abilities such as being able to utilize the effects in its video/s.
- Adobe Premiere Pro Manipulation: Glitch Green can eat and take anything from Adobe Premiere Pro app. It gets more powerful after it eats files from Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Position: By changing its position at will, it can fly all over the place, perform flying kicks, and repeatedly strike an opponent.
- Rotation: By rotating itself, it dodges attacks, performs backflips, and knocks other people away.
- Lightning: Glitch Green can generate lightning by use of Premiere Pro's generative lightning effect. This effect can also be used to create a box of lightning to trap enemies that is immune to most attacks.
- Crop: Allows part of Glitch Green's body to become nonexistent whilst having no repercussions on position, essentially allowing it to easily dodge incoming attacks.
- Find Edges: Glitch Green can temporarily remove its body's 'fill' color, making all attacks pass through it. It can also apply this effect to other objects to render them intangible.
- Horizontal Flip: It can flip itself horizontally when eating this effect, essentially allowing for a spinning kick.
- Vertical Flip: Like the horizontal flip, but vertical. It uses the move to quickly slam enemies down after leaping off the ground upside-down, and also to easily reach higher elevation in its surroundings.
- Duplicate: After eating the effect, it could duplicate itself in a manner similar to victim.
- Mosaic: Puts a blocky mosaic effect over Glitch Green, allowing it to achieve more hard-hitting attacks
- Posterize Time: Alters framerate of either itself or nearby objects temporarily. It uses this to become extremely fast, and also to slow down time for incoming attacks and enemies.
- Gaussian Blur: Very similar in 'find edges' in that Glitch Green can temporarily blur itself to make all attacks pass through it.
- Bevel Edges: Glitch Green can surround itself in a box with a beveled edges effect that can block attacks.
- Symbol Projection: Glitch Green can spit existing symbols in its videos out from its "mouth" into text boxes.
- Energy Wall Generation: Glitch Green can create a border of glitchy energy.[2]
- Durability: Glitch Green is highly durable against attacks.
- Levitation & Lightning Emission: After consuming enough Premiere Pro effects, Glitch Green was temporarily able to float midair and radiate large amounts of electricity.
- Combat: Glitch Green is high-skilled combatant. It could beat the Stick Gang in hand-to-hand combat.
Trivia[]
