The Function Gun ( or ) is an item used in Animation vs. Math. It is produced by compressing an equation with only one side filled. In this case, (or 9×tan(π)).
Appearance[]
It is a white math equation featuring the = sign, the function sign (ƒ), and parentheses with something usually inside; if not, it's replaced by a period inside the parentheses.
Powers & Abilities[]
The projectiles it produces are limited to the scope of the function. When loaded with a coordinate point (•), it evaluates once as soon as it hits a number, or it runs the function if it hits a wall (which produced the radius in the Mathematical constant Circle). Since , this multiplies numbers by 0, which eliminates them. When the loaded coordinate point is placed at the center of the circle and struck with sine/cosine mallets, it produces a sinusoidal blast with the radius of the circle, which becomes indefinite if π is attached to it. When loaded with ∞, the scope becomes bounded only to a local container, and if shot repeatedly at a certain point in the boundary, it creates a point that increments n in the equation , which represents the real coordinate space. The Second Coming escaped by stretching through the point.
- 9 Tan(π) bullet: Shoots a bullet that multiplies into any value. The value is equal to 0, so it will evaporate any value that is not in summation form.
- Infinity (∞): When the infinity is placed in the parentheses, the value reaches its limit. This causes the bullet to turn into a ray that fills nearly half of the screen.
- Value Wave Beam: When the gun is attached to the Mathematical constant Circle, the waves created by the circle through the cosine and i•sine mallets get turned into a massive wave beam and cause its value to become zero, making it a really destructive beam to values. The size and power of the beam seem to be dependent on the size of the circle. It doesn't seem to be able to destroy shapes, though.
Role[]
During the climax, The Second Coming forms it to fight against the Euler's identity's clones. After getting the infinity from one of the clones, he puts it into the gun, which turns the bullets into deadly rays, allowing him to kill more than just one clone in a single shot. The Second Coming managed to fend off the clones, with four clones remaining. They form Numberzilla and make The Second Coming go into the mathematical constant circle. He finds a Theta symbol, places the equation on top after transposing his position, and hits it with the cosine and i•sine mallets, killing the groups, except for Euler's identity. He charges down to Euler and falls into the imaginary dimension. They then get back on top to turn off the weapon.
