Animator vs. Animation is the first Flash movie of the Animator vs. Animation Series. It was released on Newgrounds on June 3rd, 2006, on YouTube on May 14th, 2007, and on atom.com on September 12th, 2007.
Synopsis[]
An animator faces his own animation in deadly combat. The battlefield? The Flash interface itself. A stick figure is created by an animator with the intent to torture. The stick figure will be using everything he can find - the brush tool, the eraser tool, etc. - to get back at his tormentor. It's resourcefulness versus power. Who will win? You can find out yourself.[1]
Plot[]
The Animator creates a black stick figure, clicks on him and chooses "Convert to Symbol" and names him victim. victim looks around himself,
and attempts to escape the box he is in. He escapes after the Animator tries to crush him, where he hits the corner and destroys the box. He jumps onto the cursor and eventually gets to the tool pane. The Animator selects the lasso tool and ties up victim, but he smashes the cursor with a magnifying glass and escapes.
He takes a line and a pen tool, connects them together and uses it to cut the lasso. Meanwhile, the Animator draws a plasma gun. victim takes an A and bends him into a bow, and as the cursor finishes drawing, fires the arrow at the cursor. The Animator attempts to shoot him but victim squirts water on it with an eyedropper and it explodes, causing the frames from the timeline to fall out. The Animator creates a gun that shoots timeline frames, but the victim blocks the frames by using the eraser tool. victim then shoots the eraser tool at the cannon, destroying it. victim opens the flash library while the Animator tries to stop him by throwing a ninja star
at him. The Animator then ties him up with the lasso tool. He squish him more. He attempts to delete the "victim" symbol, but victim crosses the option out. victim draws the line by using the paintbrush. victim then reaches the picture of himself and uses it to create duplicates of himself. victim and his clones will get ready. The duplicates attempt to round up the cursor and fight, but the Animator reaches the exit button and clicks it without saving. The screen becomes dark and the words, "THE END" are displayed. The words, "By Alan Becker" appear shortly after, crediting him.
