DJ Welch is a character who appears as a cameo in "The Showdown" when The Chosen One and The Dark Lord fight each other on Discord. He later has a more prominent role in the Actual Short episode "Autocorrect," when Alan tries to send him an email about meeting every other week.

  • In real life, DJ Welch is an American animator and concept artist. He is the host of YouTube channel Animators VS Games, playing games and reacting to videos with Alan Becker. He has worked for companies such as Cartoon Network and Sony[2][3], and now is currently working for Lucasfilm.[4] He currently lives with TheOdd1sOut, in San Francisco, California.[5][6][4] He's currently working on a show called Primoral Descent.
    • The real DJ Welch's favorite stick figure is Green.[7]
    • The real DJ Welch owns a YouTube channel, which is currently inactive.
    • The real DJ helped design the Titan Ravagers[8], and he designed the flying vehicles the mercenaries drive[9].
    • On the the Animator vs Games channel, some video thumbnails may feature a stick figure personification of DJ, an orange stick figure, similar shape to Red, Yellow, Green and Blue. Though in older videos, his design is a tad different, such in Stick Fight | OHH GAWD SNAKES!!!!.
    • He is good at predicting things.[10]
    • If the real DJ would pick a superpower, it would be telekinesis.[10]
    • The real DJ and TheOdd1sOut workout in front of a non-existent audience because he doesn't want to get cancelled.[10]
