Cave Spider Queen

The Cave Spider Queen is one of the main antagonists of the AVM Shorts series, appearing with the role in her debut episode: Cave Spider Roller Coaster. She is the biggest member and the leader of a Cave Spider Colony living in an abandoned mineshaft in the SkyBlock Dimension within Minecraft, to the west of the Dolphin Kingdom. She constantly orders her subordinates to bring her large portions of food, including the invaders in the mine as they did with The Second Coming, Red and Yellow.

Appearance[]

The Cave Spider Queen is a large cave spider wearing a large pointy crown that appears to be made out of gold. No one knows how she got this crown.

History[]

In one more of the normal routes with the cave spider subordinates bringing the queen portions of food, Green and Blue invade the banquet to rescue The Second Coming, Red and Yellow that three spiders were taking to the queen as her next meal. She orders them to take Green, who was actually a distraction, while Blue wakes up the others and heals them from the poisonous spider venom.

Realizing this, she sends the other spiders to chase the Stick Gang. The Stick Gang ran and escaped by riding mine carts with the spiders chasing them. Later when her army failed, one of the remaining spiders informed her about this and out of rage, she decided to hunt them herself. She finds them shortly before crossing the portal of the Nether, and after a fight she immobilizes Red, Yellow, Green and Blue by covering and trapping them with webs and leaves them huddled on the ground to devour them after. After The Second Coming is the only one left, she jumps in slow motion towards him, when suddenly a random Wither goes through the portal and attacks her, making the Stick Gang able to escape.

The Showdown - Animator vs. Animation 8[]

Whilst The Chosen One and The Dark Lord are fighting, they go to the YouTube website. The Cave Spider Queen appears on the thumbnail for "Animation vs. Minecraft Shorts Season 1 - All Episodes (1-14)".

You Shall Not Pass - An Actual Short[]

It is revealed that the queen survived her encounter with the Wither, with the two joining forces. Years later, they, along with their armies, are seen chasing the Stick Gang again until reaching a tight suspended passage in a cavity. Yellow, the last in the line, stops in the middle of the bridge and turns around, raising his staff and sword, and faces the pursuers. He points his staff at them and charges it up. The Wither shoots skulls at him, but he blocks them with a shield from his staff, preparing for the next attack. The Cave Spider Queen shoots webs at him, which he deflects with slime blocks. One of the webs attaches to one of the Wither's heads. Yellow then steps forward, raising his staff and sword, and strikes the ground with his staff, causing the blocks in front of him to shatter and disappear. This causes the Cave Spider Queen to fall into the abyss, taking the Wither King with her. Satisfied, Yellow heads back to his friends, but is caught by a web from the queen and is sucked down into the void, but manages to escape. The queen's fate is once again left unknown. It is possible that the wither managed to fly her to safety.

Powers & Abilities[]

Poison Venom: Like all cave spiders, the queen can inflict the poison effect to those it contacts when it requires it in combat.
Combat Proficiency: She can move at great speeds and inflict reasonable amounts of damage in fights.
Enhanced Durability: The queen has more hit-points and health than the typical cave spider.
Web Shooter: She can shoot webs that could temporarily immobilize targets.
