What's this? I gave little to no warning of something like this... Well, surprise! I wrote up a little fanfic for a very special occasion in the Alan Becker-verse. It's nothing that jumps out on paper, but let me explain. Three years ago today, (Really? It's been three years now? Jeez...) Alan released his epic. My all-time favorite episode of Alan's, The King, made its YouTube debut today, and with it came the first (and thus far only) appearance of his beloved son, Gold. 2025: A Year in Review
Sooo… 2025 has come and gone, and with it has come a new batch of Alan Becker episodes. We’ve seen five Mini-sodes, three AvM episodes, two AvE episodes, one AvA episode, 21 Actual Shorts, the conclusion of AvM S4, the beginning of AvM S5, and a bunch of fun things like a game teaser, an AvM S3 anime opening, and bumpers for ABTV. Safe to say, this year was, for lack of a better word, awesome. In terms of Alan’s content, at least.

Top 3 saddest backstories in the series
In my opinion, these are the top three saddest character backstories in order:
- Victim
After being tortured for nine months by his creator, victim finally managed to escape to the Outernet. His lover Mitsi was killed in the raid on Newgrounds, and victim soon realized her presumed killer was working with his torturer. I think everything he has gone through and lost makes his backstory the saddest in the series.
2. King Orange
King Orange lost his son, Gold, after he died during the tragic Minecraft Simulation crash. He was alone after, with no other family, and tried to get revenge, even by betraying Purple.
3. Purple
After Navy left, believing Pink and Purple were weak, Pink soon died, and Purple was left on his own. He did everyt…

- The Dark Lord will trick H4CK3R into joining him and will betray him after. It makes sense H4CK3R is trusting him, because they both seem to want revenge- on noogai3, and probably also on The Chosen One or The Second Coming:
The Dark Lord: "I don't need you anymore now that I have my revenge." (Lied about reviving Mitsi.)
- Green, Blue, and Red will break Yellow, The Second Coming, and The Chosen One out, and arrive on Alan's PC facing H4CK3R, The Dark Lord, and ViraBots, with noogai3 and hopefully an army from somewhere.

The episode begins with King Orange standing at the edge of the Far Lands, completely bewildered by the corrupted terrain stretching endlessly before him. The glitched blocks form impossible geometries—walls that shouldn't exist, terrain that defies physics, and strange gravitational anomalies. He attempts to use his staff, but the glitch has affected it as well, causing it to spark and malfunction.
