Artificial stick figures are a race of stick figures that are artificially created in a program, unlike their counterparts, natural stick figures, who are made through reproduction.

Artificial sticks can be given a title, or "level", before creation, which means they can either be similar in strength to natural stick figures or have superpowers and be vastly more powerful than them. This title appears to be determined by the artificial stick figure's name: The grander the name, the more powerful the resulting stick figure will be.

They can also be programmed with goals, which is also done by giving them names. Apparently, even rejected names will have an impact on the goals and personality of the resulting stick figure.

Another thing that influences an artificial stick figure's goals and personalities appears to be the purpose for which he or she was created. So for instance, an artificial stick created in a fun game of Hangman will be friendly and playful, while another stick created for the purpose of being tortured for fun will be vindictive and go to any costs to fight back.

Among them exists a sub-species known as temporary stick figures, simplified stick figures that have a far more basic outline. They are much more vulnerable than even Internet stick figures, as they can easily be recalled. Temporary stick figures are usually created by a proper artificial stick figure rather than an animator.

Appearance[]

Their appearances vary; it depends on how their creator drew them. There are some specific styles that we have seen, such as the ‘hollow-heads’, which were the first to appear, and were created by Alan Becker, and are victim, The Chosen One, The Dark Lord and The Second Coming.

Notable Members[]

victim[]

victim was the first artificial stick figure to be seen on-screen, and the first creation of Alan Becker. He is the only stick figure of his kind to have no known superpowers, but instead is extremely intelligent and resourceful, being able to use his environment to his advantage and very easily adapt to the situation while barely having to think, being able to come up with ideas on the spot.

He was created by Alan Becker so that he could torture him for his own amusement, not realizing that victim is sentient and simply wants to live. Angered by his creator's very abusive behavior towards him, victim showed no fear in retaliating against Alan's cursor and trying to defend himself against the more powerful entity. Despite being at a disadvantage, victim's resourcefulness proved to be his greatest strength and after learning to clone himself using the Flash library, victim managed to switch the tables and take the upper hand over his creator. However, before him and his clones could strike, Alan simply closed the Flash program without saving, ending the battle prematurely and presumably ending victim's short existence.

However, he was later re-drawn (and then destroyed again) multiple times, before eventually managing to escape to the Outernet where he, using his natural gift for leadership, alongside a new ally, succeeding in heading up his own organization that originally served as a repair company, but later broadened and now includes the research and production of very sophisticated technology, but mostly centered around animation tools.

Eventually, Mitsi, his close partner, was killed during the Newgrounds rampage at the hands of The Chosen One and The Dark Lord, his successors. After years of grieving, he eventually learned that Alan and The Chosen One are connected, reviving his desire to achieve revenge.

victim then placed a bounty on his successor for him to be captured and brought to him, using a group of mercenaries to accomplish this.

The Chosen One[]

The Chosen One is the second stick figure to be created by Alan and the first one to have powers. Having been created approximately five months after his fight with victim, Alan decided to grant his newest creation the highest power level he could think of in order to get a real challenge. Unfortunately, Alan underestimated the ferocity of The Chosen One due to him being a naturally destructive being who only seems to care about using his powers to destroy his creator's computer and attack anything he considered an enemy.

Despite his superpowers, The Chosen One has proven to be fallible due to the Avast Antivirus succeeding in containing him and allowing Alan to tame the stick figure, using him as a slave for no other reason than as a pop-up blocker in order to allow his creator to surf the internet without disturbances. However, five years after his enslavement, The Chosen One saw a chance for escape upon seeing a link to a website that opposes the idea of "stick slavery" and provides the stick figure with a chance for freedom but Alan uses his powers against him to destroy his ticket of escape.

Enraged, he attacked the cursor and tricked Alan into accidentally freeing him, allowing The Chosen One to unleash his revenge against Alan for his years of abuse and enslavement. After realizing his desktop icons couldn't stop The Chosen One, his creator decided to fight fire with fire by creating another stick figure, The Dark Lord, who had powers that rivaled The Chosen One and gave him the directive of destroying The Chosen One. This caused a fight to break out until The Chosen One revealed to The Dark Lord that Alan didn't see him as any less expendable than The Chosen One, angering him and causing him to team up against his common enemy, destroying Alan's computer with a blue screen of death and frying the motherboard.

Originally, The Chosen One was thought to have perished in the explosion, but instead managed to escape into the Internet with The Dark Lord at the last second, where they began a seven-year reign of destruction across every game and/or website they could find. However, over time The Chosen One began to see the errors of his ways and especially noticed how The Dark Lord only seemed to further become obsessed with destruction purely for fun, causing a gradual rift to form between them. Ultimately, this caused The Chosen One to fall back into conflict with his old enemy and barely succeed in stopping him from destroying everything using his new instruments, the ViraBots, with unexpected help from Alan, other stick figures and most of all, his own successor: The Second Coming.

Although he was successful in stopping The Dark Lord and saving the world of stick figures, The Chosen One's troubles had yet to end due to a group of mercenaries coming after him years later due to a bounty being placed on The Chosen One by a mysterious organization. He was left on the run by the mercenaries thanks to the technological weapons gifted to him by the organization that allowed them to neutralize The Chosen One's powers and make him weak enough for capture; this caused The Chosen One to remember how he received unexpected help from The Second Coming in stopping The Dark Lord and realized he needed that power again due to his own powers being blocked by the glitch-like weaponry at his disposal.

The Chosen One managed to make his way back to Alan's computer where they found The Second Coming and pleaded with him for help, all while trying to make him remember his hidden powers that he used to stop The Dark Lord but unfortunately, The Second Coming had no awareness of these powers nor the means to activate him. Regardless, The Chosen One took his successor back with him and tried to have him fight off the mercenaries, which he almost succeeded in due to the pencil icon he took from Alan, only for the mercenary boss "Agent" to personally intervene and use his pausing power on both stick figures, capturing him and delivering him to the private organization owned by victim.

The Dark Lord[]

The Dark Lord is the third stick figure that was created by Alan Becker, with the sole purpose of destroying The Chosen One. Originally, he was loyal to his creator and dedicated to his mission of destroying The Chosen One, rallying the rest of Alan's desktop icons together against his enemy. Unfortunately for him, The Chosen One proved to be a difficult adversary despite being heavily outnumbered. He was able to trap The Dark Lord inside of Minesweeper, which distracted him long enough for The Chosen One to deal with the icons and back The Dark Lord into a corner.

Being left weakened, The Dark Lord became fearful due to having no way of defending himself but to their surprise, The Chosen One instead urged him to fight back against his creator upon realizing that Alan wasn't concerned whether or not he survived despite doing everything that was ordered of him and being loyal to his apathetic creator. This betrayal enraged The Dark Lord so much that he overpowered the urge to complete his mission and abandoned it in favor of teaming up with The Chosen One to destroy Alan's computer in retribution for his suffering; which they succeeded in doing but not before they escaped seconds before its total destruction, resulting in a blue screen of death and Alan's computer being left irreversibly broken.

After escaping, the two superpowers began to destroy every single website, game and stick figure community they could find over the course of the next 7 years. During this time, The Dark Lord began to see the fun in senseless destruction and grew to relish in becoming powerful. This led to him designing a powerful virus known as ViraBot, with the intention of spreading this virus across the global network in order to destroy the entire stick figure society as he knew it. However, The Chosen One disagreed with his idea and this ultimately led to the two once again falling back into conflict over this disagreement on what his purpose was.

Despite having been temporarily beaten by his adversary, The Dark Lord retreated to his secret warehouse while The Chosen One chased after the ViraBot he sent to destroy Alan's new computer as a test run, but this failed due to The Chosen One's intervention and he made his way back to the Outernet to finish the fight against The Dark Lord who was initially at a disadvantage against their enemy but had planned for this outcome and created weaponized virus bands that enhanced his powers enough to allow him to gain the upper hand against The Chosen One. Once Alan's cursor came to The Chosen One's aid, he decided to unleash all of the ViraBots he created to once again secure the advantage.

The Dark Lord was prepared to end the fight before The Chosen One could regain a footing against him, but was surprised by The Second Coming getting in between them, defending The Chosen One against The Dark Lord along with his friends. Despite this, The Dark Lord didn't consider him a proper threat and could easily dispose of the latter four even when they teamed up against him, causing their code to erode due to the virus-like nature of his blades. However, when he tried the same on The Second Coming, he was shocked to realize that he had some form of resistance against the virus power similar to The Chosen One. This angered The Dark Lord enough to lash out against The Second Coming and make very deep gashes in an attempt to keep him down.

This proved to be a mistake on The Dark Lord's part because the combination of the immense physical and emotional trauma acted a catalyst to awaken something with The Second Coming, granting him a strange green energy that acted as an antivirus and unlocked The Second Coming's full potential. The difference in power immediately the opposite of what it was, with The Dark Lord being unable to do any damage to the awakened Second Coming and all of his ViraBots being destroyed effortlessly. Realizing the danger The Second Coming held, The Dark Lord tried to retreat but failed due to The Second Coming's hyperspeed and emitting a ultrapowerful green laser that blasted The Dark Lord into the horizon and ended his plans for destruction, but ultimately leaving his fate unknown.

The Second Coming[]

The Second Coming is the fourth stick figure that Alan created three years after his old computer was destroyed. He is the leader of the Stick Gang. However, instead of immediately retaliating against his creator or trying to destroy his computer, chose to pretend he was inanimate after being created in order to trick his creator so he could roam around the computer in secret and immediately came across the Stickfights website where he met the Fighting Stick Figures, a group of four Internet Stick Figures named Blue, Green, Yellow and Red, who spent all of their time fighting each other. The Second Coming befriended the Fighting Stick Figures and showed them how to exit their website. The five sticks had a great time playing on ALANSPC—until Alan returned with the laundry and happened to spot them.

Alan deleted the Fighting Stick Figures, and tried deleting The Second Coming, only for his creation to prove to be too resistant to be deleted. The Second Coming tried getting vengeance for his friends by ruining Alan's social life on FaceBook and then sneaking into his phone, where he caused mayhem (including almost dialing the emergency number, 911).

Upon returning to the computer, The Second Coming made a laser gun with animation tools and shot Alan's cursor, deleting it. While Alan made a new cursor, The Second Coming made his own drawings. Alan was about to delete them, but seeing how much better they were compared to his made him reconsider. However, when a drawing punched his cursor so hard the entire computer started shaking, he quickly deleted them.

The Second Coming, who dropped to the ground when his wings got deleted, was caged in a box and squeezed in tight. As Alan moved in closer, The Second Coming begged for mercy. The two of them reached an agreement after Alan revived Red, Yellow, Green, and Blue, and The Second Coming went to work with him as a co-animator. Nowadays, the five stick figures live freely and peacefully on Alan's computer.

Four years after The Second Coming's birth (and the havoc he attempted to wreak), a virus was discovered in Alan's computer. After attempting to destroy it, the virus came out of its "egg" and attempted to destroy the computer. Alan and the Stick Gang attempted to fight back, but it proved useless until the return of The Chosen One, who destroyed it with a great amount of effort. Once The Chosen One left the computer through a portal he generated via the computer's WiFi, the Stick Gang followed suit. The portal led to the Outernet, where The Chosen One would settle their conflict once and for all while the Stick Gang just fell out of the portal and into the water. When the Stick Gang saw who The Chosen One was fighting, they tried as hard as they could to assist him, going as far as to find a way to allow Alan Becker to fight The Dark Lord in the Outernet. Both Alan Becker and The Chosen One were overwhelmed by The Dark Lord and his ViraBot army, however. When The Chosen One was cornered by the ViraBots on a ledge and The Dark Lord was about to finish him off, the Stick Gang intervened. However, even when The Dark Lord called off the ViraBots (except for the ones pinning The Chosen One to the ground), the Stick Gang was still completely overwhelmed by him. One by one, the Fighting Stick Figures were killed off and The Second Coming soon after.

However, The Second Coming is revealed to have some sort of virus resistance. Despite his relentless attempts to kill The Second Coming, he just would not die. After a brutal beatdown, The Dark Lord believes himself to have won and directs his ViraBot to the Internet to destroy it once and for all.

This is the first and currently only time The Second Coming reveals his true potential, likely because of the intense physical and emotional trauma he had to endure in that single minute. Within the span of another minute, the power gap between The Second Coming and The Dark Lord is revealed to be enormous, with the former completely overpowering the latter and his ViraBot army with virtually no opposition, with his defeat imminent in no more than 90 seconds. After The Dark Lord's defeat, The Second Coming revived all of his fallen friends, including Alan's cursor before falling completely unconscious. When he awoke on the ledge, he was clearly extremely confused but still relieved to see his friends alive, suggesting that The Second Coming has no knowledge of his powers. This is furthered by The Chosen One bowing down to The Second Coming, to the latter's bafflement. The Chosen One himself is also baffled, but does not get a chance to explain due to the Stick Gang returning to Alan's computer prematurely.

Five years after The Dark Lord's defeat, The Second Coming was sparring with his friends when The Chosen One came to him, begging for help against the Mercenaries. He tried to get The Second Coming to use his powers, but The Second Coming had no memory of them. Not willing to take no for an answer, The Chosen One grabbed him and took him to the Outernet, the Fighting Stick Figures following them.

The Chosen One told his successor to attack the Mercenaries, but again, The Second Coming refused, probably knowing he is overmatched against them. The Chosen One forced him to, but after he got attacked, The Chosen One tried rescuing him, but he was ultimately unsuccessful and eventually, the two of them were caught, paused by Agent, and taken to the building of victim's Organization.

Once there, The Second Coming was imprisoned, but was let out to use the Flash Pen when victim's Workers were unable to figure out how it worked. The Second Coming was brought in to use it, and successfully drew an eel. He was then tasked with drawing a bird, but the eel, seeing it was about to get erased, panicked and banged against the confines of its force field. It was eventually erased, but seeing the damage it caused, victim's workers took the orange stick figure back to his cell.

As he was being escorted back, The Second Coming happened to glance at a screen showing The Chosen One's memories, which revealed to him his secret powers. He looked at his hands in shock and horror, now fully realizing what he is capable of, before promptly being put into lockdown, steel walls enclosing around him. He was last seen banging against the walls in defiance, but to no avail.

Purple[]

Purple is the son of Dark Blue and Pink. Purple is currently being taken care by King Orange. Purple had a rough childhood, since he was always fighting with his father and his mother died. Ever since the two events, Purple tried to prove he was worthy to his only living parent, making many mistakes because of it. This made Purple an antagonist in many episodes, and especially Animation vs. Minecraft Shorts Season 3, where he teamed up with King Orange in hopes of destroying Minecraft. It is possible Purple was involved in this either because he wanted King Orange's approval since they looked at him like his past father, and/or he thought destroying a big game would get Dark Blue's attention back. In the end, Purple realizes that he has been doing many wrong things because of his dangerous goal, and he decided to help defeat King Orange. He later gets a hug by King Orange and is currently his adopted son. He is also friends with The Fighting Stick Figures, though he and Green have the tightest bond, and The Second Coming. He even joins them in some activities, such as in Piggie Love - An Actual Short.

Dark Blue[]

Dark Blue is the estranged father of Purple and ex-husband of Pink. He always tried to train Purple to be a fighter, but Dark Blue was too hard on him. Eventually, he divorced with Pink over an argument while Pink was trying to defend Purple, and left the two of them. Dark Blue's current status is currently unknown.

Pink[]

Pink is the mother of Purple and ex-wife of Dark Blue. She was there to comfort her son during his training with Dark Blue, but after Dark Blue left, she passed away some time afterwards, though her cause of death is unknown. Once, Purple gave Pink cherry blossoms from Minecraft in front of her grave in Cherry Blossoms - An Actual Short.

Corn Dog Guy[]

The Corn Dog Guy is a regular stick figure who sells corn dogs in the Outernet. It is possible he was the one who gave Gold the two corn dogs in The King. In Showdown from the Street, he sells his corn dogs as The Second Coming and The Dark Lord were engaged in their epic battle. In Corn Dog Guy - An Actual Short, his corn dog stand gets glitch-bombed by one of the mercenaries. He then tries to sell the pixelated corn dogs for double the price.

Mitsi[]

Mitsi was an important character in Victim - Animator vs. Animation 11. She was victim's lover, as well as the co-founder and first C.E.O. of the Rocket Corp. until her demise in 2011, during The Dark Lord and The Chosen One's destruction-filled rampage across the internet.
