| Not to be confused with the regular Animator vs. Animation game. |
The Animator vs. Animation Game - Special Edition was a version of the Animator vs. Animation game. This game has been preserved fortunately and can be played here.
Gameplay[]
The gameplay is kind of similar to the original version. When you start up the game, you have:
- Survival Mode
- Missions
- Play Original
- High Scores
- Buy Secrets
- ROFLOL (needs to be bought)
Survival Mode[]
Survival Mode is a mode where you play as the Animator, and you must prevent the score from going negative.
The gameplay of Survival Mode is the same of the original game's Animator gamemode.
The only real gameplay changes are that the paintbrush tool is not available for the animator and can only be used by the animation and the animation will periodically clone itself.
Missions[]
Conquer the Giant[]
In this gamemode, you fight against a giant stick figure that has 7000 health. You need to deal 7000 damage within 2 minutes to win. The gameplay is mostly the same but the Giant deals more damage than the regular stick figure. You get 300 money after defeating it to buy things in the shop.
Clone Invasion[]
Now you have to fight 3 stick figures all at once. This might be harder as they could attack your mouse pointer all at once and move it out of place, making the pencil tool almost useless. You get 400 money after defeating them and you can buy this mission in the shop for 700 money.
Defend Your Castle[]
The Defend Your Castle gamemode features a tower defense mechanic, and castle you have to defend. Small Stick Figures will raid the castle, and start damaging it once they get to it. They all have 100 health points. The castle has 5000 health and in order to win, you have to defend it for 2 minutes. For winning, you get rewarded 500 money, and you can buy this mission in the shop for 800 money.
Target Practice[]
Target Practice is a very hard gamemode. You play as the Animation, and you have to hit the mouse pointer and make sure that it hits the target (The mouse pointer moving into the target will not work.). You have to destroy 7 targets within 2 minutes in order to win. If you win, you get awarded 500 money, and you can buy this gamemode in the shop for 900 money.
Disorientation[]
Disorientation is also a very hard gamemode. You play as the Animation, but there's a twist. All your controls are inversed! You must get 5000 points within 2 minutes to win. However, there's a bug where the mouse pointer gets stuck, so you can win easily. You get awarded 750 points for winning, and in order to buy the mission, you need to have 900 money.
ROFLOL (displayed on title screen)[]
ROFLOL is a hard gamemode that appears on the title screen. You have to fight against 8 stick figures, get as much score as you can within 2 minutes. You can buy it for 3000 money in the store and you get no money for beating it.
Features[]
Buy Secrets[]
The Buy Secrets button will take you to the Secrets shop, which has Missions and other stuff you can buy. To get money, you need to win missions.
List of things you can buy:
- MovieClips - MovieClip Library (bundled with pistol), Shotgun, Rocket Launcher, Library Limit to 5
- Missions - Clone Invasion, Defend Your Castle, Target Practice, Disorientation, ROFLOL
- Pencil Tool - Big Laser Gun (400 money)
MovieClip Library[]
The MovieClip Library is a library of automatic weapons - they don't need to be drawn with the pencil tool. The max limit of them are 3, but you can upgrade it to be able to use 5.
Pistol[]
The Pistol comes bundled with the MovieClip Library - it costs 400 money, it shoots a bullet at a pretty fast rate, but it only does 5 damage.
Shotgun[]
The Shotgun is a gun you can buy for the MovieClip Library (it does not come bundled with the shotgun). Despite it being a shotgun, it shoots one bullet at a time. It shoots at a slower rate than the Pistol, but it does 15 damage. It can be bought for 120 money.
Rocket Launcher[]
The Rocket Launcher is also an additional gun you can buy. It shoots at a slow rate, and it's bullets are slow, but it does 30 damage. The bullets don't explode, for some reason. This gun is good if the Animation is using something that makes it stand in place, like the Text tool (or known as the Text bow). It costs 200 money.
Library Limit to 5[]
This increases the amount of guns you can place from 3 to 5. It costs 300 money.
Known glitches[]
- Sometimes you will have 999999 dollars when you start playing the game.
- The stick figure sometimes get stuck in the corner, moving left and right. This glitch is especially useful in survival mode, as it can't do any damage. However, the stick figure can get out of the loop, which makes it able to attack you.
Characters[]
- Alan Becker
- victim
- The Chosen One
- Giant (debut/only appearance)
