| Not to be confused with Animators VS Games. |
Animation vs. Game Design is the fifth mini-sode. It was made in collaboration with Pixicade.
Plot[]
noogai3 draws a simple platforming game on paper before taking a picture of it with an iPad with the app Pixicade downloaded. All five members of the Stick Gang jump into his iPad and watch him create it.
noogai3 shows the controls of the game to the Stick Gang. Red tries moving it, but the game character goes straight into a red fire and dies.
With the help of The Second Coming, they manage to beat the game.
noogai3 decided to add a bunch of assets to the game to make it more challenging, and when he's done, the initial platform that the player is on can tilt, underneath is a pool of lava, and several devices are shooting some sort of projectile at the player.
The playing character grabs a sword and manages to get to the end safely and the Stick Gang celebrates.
Meanwhile, back in ALANSPC, Yellow is making a new game for noogai3 to take a picture of. All five members of the Stick Gang create various games by drawing them, then they use the Pixicade app to bring their games to life. The Stick Gang customizes their playing character to be a running green stick with a slice of pepperoni pizza for a head.
- Yellow makes a game that's similar to platforming.
- Red makes a slingshot game that you have to navigate the ball through to survive. They fail.
- The Second Coming makes a game of pinball.
- Blue makes a maze.
- Green makes a platforming game with fragile platforms and cannons shooting at you...being played with a ridiculous Pixicade skin.
The episode ends, and Alan Becker explains what Pixicade is. He states that it's an app where you can literally draw a game to (non-literally) bring it to life, and it comes with an instruction manual on what kinds of games you can make with Pixicade. He then states that there's a new Alan Becker section in the app that allows you to customize your characters, and even play as the Stick Gang.

Trivia[]
- This is the first episode on Alan's channel to feature his computer in Windows 11.
- In the beginning of the video, Red skips up to the Stick Gang in the same way as The Second Coming did in the original Animation vs. Minecraft.
- The reaction video thumbnail and second removed reaction video thumbnail are almost identical, but they have a few differences. The reaction video has Blue in place of Alan, and Red replacing DJ. The reaction video also removes Alan's glasses and adds cat ears to Red.
- Alan's account can be followed as "abex" on Pixicade for free, since it's the main feature of turning drawings into games that one has to pay for.
- This is the first Mini-sode to feature noogai3.
Errors[]
- When Blue and Yellow are walking away from Alan's second game to ALANSPC, the frame before the transition shows Blue behind Yellow on the jump button, but the frame after the transition shows Yellow on the jump button, in front of Blue.
