Actual Shorts, also called An Actual Short, is a series made for the YouTube shorts feature. New episodes were released every Saturday, except for when an episode from another series released on that day. On November 17th, 2023, Alan Becker announced that Actual Shorts would be coming out "every other week" in order to prioritize full-length episodes.

- The name "Actual Shorts" refers to the fact the series uses the YouTube Shorts feature, and that episodes of AVM Shorts are typically too long to be considered "shorts".
- Several of the shorts include references to prior installments in the franchise, such as noogai3 making a cameo appearance, The Second Coming using his speech-text, Green using his singing "voice", The Second Coming’s unique powers, King Orange's command block staff, (currently owned by Yellow) and more uses of the computer setting akin to the older installments in the franchise. Some occasional references to non-AVA related videos made by Alan Becker also appear.
