I decided to change the wiki icon that you see on the tab to Alan's cursor logo. I did this mostly because it's more recognizable for the AvA brand, and the old icon not really working well as a shrunk down icon. I'm curious on what you all think about the change, if you like it or prefer the old one, or any feedback in general, please let me know.

@Iamcool737 , a major contributor on this wiki, decided that it would be a good idea to rename the pages "Artificial Stick Figures" and "Natural Stick Figures" to "Animated Stick Figures" and "Internet Stick Figures", respectively, his logic stating that since "artificial" means "man-made", all stick figures are technically artificial and these names make no sense.

@Islabean13 , a rising major contributor on this wiki, felt that the {{Rename}} templates made no sense as renaming the pages would take too long and force wiki editors to have to fix LOTS of redirect links in order to adapt to the new names, also stating that the current names have been used for a long time and should stay that way.

Six hours later, Iamcool737 reverted the reversion, stating that the names in the {{Rename}} template were actually the original names of the articles before the rename to these names and that not renaming a page because of a lot of "hard work" is invalid.

Two hours after that, I stepped in, trying to (and hopefully successfully) stop the conflict before it escalated into a full-on edit war. As of now, the page is peaceful, so I want to address the issue before any edit wars start.

Iamcool737 is right. "Artificial stick figures" makes no sense, since "artificial" makes no sense and since the entire Internet was man-made, ALL stick figures are technically artificial, even the ones that were born biologically.

On the other hand, there's a reason why the old names do not make sense, as "animated" stick figures were never animated (save for The Second Coming), and the natural stick figures actually WERE. However, due to the existence of the Fighting Stick Figures, this name can't be used for the natural stick figures either.

However, "Internet Stick Figures" makes no sense as a name for the natural stick figures either, as several natural stick figures have never been uploaded to the Internet, namely the Fighting Stick Figures, although they did visit it on occasion.

So now, I want to hear your thoughts. Should the Artificial Stick Figures and Natural Stick Figures pages be renamed? If so, what should we rename them to?

The UCSARP vandal is back with a new sockpuppet. (blocked) They've been blocked, but not before vandalizing eight different articles (all reverted) and leaving seven different "I KILL YOU" messages on various walls, including mine. (I deleted them all. Sorry to everyone for intruding.)

As a new Thread Moderator and someone who spends an embarrassing amount of time poking around looking for people who have done bad things to this wiki in the past, I wanted to ask people on this wiki who've been here longer what kind of damage has been inflicted on this wiki, its current status compared to those situations, and what warning signs to look for if someone bad comes back.
