Of course!
There is theoretically, no canon gender for characters. You can interpret them however you like.
The only thing is that the fandom sometimes gets weird at the mentioning of characters’ genders… so just keep that in mind :)

Btw I think I found 2 details! There’s a V + M heart on the tree just above victim, and… some stick figure stalking?
