I'm not sure, but it makes sense in the universes logic. It took a while for TSC's intelligence to transfer from the file to the stick figure itself in AVA 4, and there's no clue saying he was already alive.

^It should not take 5 seconds to basically transfer files to a stick figure to another. That would be like transfering files from one folder to another. It usually takes at least 5 minutes I would assume.

Even then, that's gonna take a few minutes, not seconds lf we assume it happens once he's knocked out. Unless he started it when he hoped in front of Chosen, ain't no way it's that quick to siphon energy.
