Yes, I know that this isn't a wiki for Minecraft, but both Minecraft Wikis don't have a discussion page (at least, not that I'm aware of) and this was the closest place I could think of to a MC community. Besides, I thought it would be easier to find fanfic readers here.
And yes, I'm aware that I don't really warrant or need beta readers cuz I'm just an amateur, but it's my first Wattpad project and I want to make sure it turns out well.
Anyway....
This is very different from most traditional MC stories. It's not about real-life people getting sucked into the game, nor is it about a quest to defeat the Ender Dragon (quite the contrary, really).
This is the Wattpad description, but I promise it's better than it sounds:
For years, the people of Oaktown have lived in peace, safe in their villages, mining at day, sleeping at night. No one knows of the world with seas of lava, nor of the one made of yellow stone.
Alex has never been outside of the town. She wants to see more of the world. But if she were to leave, she wonders, could she survive?
One night, every town in the Overworld gets raided by mysterious creatures, and the man supposedly behind it all is daring them to catch him, while threatening a much bigger disaster. Alex and her friends must set out to deliver justice, and in doing so they must uncover the secrets of the Overworld, make friends and enemies, and learn new skills.
