^Yeah, I think most everyone just instinctively learns subtractive (RBY). That's what I grew up with, red, blue and yellow are the primary colors.

Why do people use RGB as primaries? I know it's because it's how light colors mix (if that makes sense) but is there another reason for this?

I use RBY because, well, that's what I learned growing up.
