May's newsletter just dropped, and it's got some interesting updates.
There's not a lot I can gather from this small teaser image, but it does have me excited to see what this episode has to offer! What I can gather is SC putting Adobe Animate into the staff for some unknown reason. Probably morbid curiosity. (Or maybe Red got his hands on the staff again and SC's just trying to undo the damage)
As for the little blurb Alan gave, yes, we fans have wondered about this for a long time. Alan Becker's subreddit, r/AlanBecker, has lots of images of King's staff with random apps in the slot. I am very intrigued to see this, it'll have a lot of lore for the Staff page, and I cannot wait to see what misadventures the Gang will have. BOLD PREDICTION: After all the mayhem they cause, they reluctantly give King the staff back since this thing has endangered their lives on multiple occasions. Maybe King will catch wind of this and take it back, if only for their sake. It's too dangerous in the Gang's hands, King will keep it safe, especially now that he's in his right mind and a friend of the Gang.
Another thing I want to bring up is... What series will this be in? Based on Alan's wording, "We're experimenting with smaller uploads," makes me think this will be its own series of mini uploads where the Gang puts different apps in the staff and sees how they work, only for something to go wrong. I don't know how long these mini-uploads will be, but considering the shortest episode of AvM S4 was 7:33, (UMR) I would assume it's shorter than that. In the 4-5 minute range if I had to guess.
Either way, I'm really eager to see what Alan has down the pipe! Here's hoping more adventures with Purple, but even if not, I'm sure it'll be awesome! But what do you guys think of my overanalysis?
