Welp heres part 2 not much more to say besides Purple's family lore ig

--- King’s POV ---
“Why are you here?” a security guard demanded. His attitude was harsh, and I instantly knew why Victoria didn’t like the city officials very much. Although, they have to put up with an insane amount of work retaining peace in the city.
“We don’t mean any harm.” Purple spoke softly. “We are looking for someone, and we need to speak with the mayor. We think he can help us.”
“Alright.” another guard replied. “Empty your pockets.”
We did as told. All we had brought with us was our phones, so they didn’t have much to check. Within a few minutes, we were face to face with the mayor. His office was kept neat and he had a whole wall of radio signals, probably to contact all the departments easily.
“Hello,” the mayor greeted. “How may I help you?”
“We’re looking for someone.” Purple said. “By the name of Navy.”
“Oh?” the mayor asked, looking through his computer for the name. “Last name, please?”
Purple breathed slowly in and out. “Skeates.” I could tell she didn’t like the name. From what I’ve heard about her dad, I don’t blame her. He’s done terrible things I could never even dream of. Even on my Minecraft rampage, when I was at my worst, I would never turn to abuse. Or at least I never thought I would, but my pain and grief were terrible and unfortunately I treated Purple as more of a servant than a friend. I’m still so glad he forgave me.
“Hmm…” the mayor pondered. “There are four people currently documented with that last name. There’s Pink Skeates…”
“My late mom…” Purple said sadly. Gold reached his hand out and Purple graciously accepted it, patting him on the head.
“...Purple Skeates…”
“That’s me.” Purple replied.
“Navy Skeates…” the mayor stopped. “I have his address down as 29 League Street. Which is weird because-”
“-nobody lives there anymore.” Purple finished.
“Why?” I asked, confused.
“The current address no longer exists. The house was removed and replaced with a different building. There’s only two possibilities. One, he’s dead, or two, he’s in the Internet, which is practically impossible after all the Internet sticks migrated here due to stick slavery.” The mayor replied.
“What’s stick slavery?” Gold asked curiously.
“Uhh… don’t worry about that yet.” I told him. “I’ll tell you later.”
“That’s impossible…” Purple inquired. “He’s not dead, and nor can he be in the Internet. I have a few friends there, and the only way to access the Internet is by flying up there.”
“I’m sorry, but those are the only two options.” the mayor replied. “Or else he just simply disappeared.”
“Wait!” Carlos interrupted. “Didn’t you say there were four people with that last name?”
“Oh, yeah.” the mayor answered. “The last person is Coconut Skeates.”
That name surprised all four of us. I was confused because Purple never mentioned any other relatives, and Purple also seemed to be shocked. I thought Purple had told me all her relatives had stayed behind in the Internet.
“You never mentioned you had a sibling…?” Gold asked her.
Purple had turned a paler shade. “I don’t.” she said softly. “Can you tell me more about her?”
“Of course.” the mayor replied. “She is about twenty-two years old, and she married Navy Skeates in 2018. Is she your step-mom or something…?”
Purple turned even paler, almost a white shade. “Holy hell… Not only was he cheating on my mom, but he also married a frickin’ sixteen year old!”
“Maybe she knows something about Navy’s whereabouts?” Carlos asked.
“Seems logical.” I chimed in. “Maybe we should pay her a visit and see what she knows, if anything, that could help us find your biological dad.”
Purple nodded, and then said through gritted teeth, “And I suppose it would be nice to visit my ‘family’.”
